Kate‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Hudson Addresses the Issue After Her Real Son of Song Sung Blue Musician Calls Her a ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌’Monster’

Kate‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Hudson Addresses Song Sung Blue Criticism from the Real Person’s Son

Kate Hudson has been through the whirlwind after some people criticized her new movie Song Sung Blue, a biopic of the lightning & Thunder, a real-life Neil Diamond cover band.
Song Sung Blue, a film penned and helmed by Craig Brewer, features Hudson and Hugh Jackman playing a Milwaukee musical duo named Mike and Claire Sardina.
During a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Hudson commented on the reaction of Mike’s son, Michael Sardina Jr., who criticized the film in the Daily Mail by saying “the film is all lies” and he claims he was “intentionally excluded from the film” even though he was paid as a consultant.
“To be honest, I’m not sure — I think it’s a matter of respecting our filmmakers and, besides, I’m not the right person to talk about it,” said ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Hudson.

Michael‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Sardina Jr. Says He Was Not Included in Song Sung Blue Film About His Family

Michael Sardina Jr. and his sister Angelina were Claire and Mike Sardina’s step-children, and Claire’s two children, Rachel and Dayna, were Claire and Mike Sardina’s step-children, too, when Claire and Mike Sardina got married in 1994. Mike died in 2006, the year before the couple’s 17-year career and their 12-year marriage were documented in the documentary Song Sung Blue by Greg Kohs.
Angelina, Rachel, and Dayna are played by King Princess, Ella Anderson, and Hudson Hensley in Craig Brewer’s film adaptation, but Michael Jr. is absent from both the narrative and the documentary.
Michael Jr. told the Daily Mail that if his dad heard the new song, he would be “rolling in his grave right now.” He said that Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman “not reaching out to me to ‘try to get more information’ about the late Mike Sardina” was the reason he accused them of.” ‍

‌‍‍Kate‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Hudson Comes to the Defense of Song Sung Blue While Real-Life Subject’s Son Criticizes the Actors “Monsters”

The drama surrounding the biopic Song Sung Blue has escalated, with Michael Sardina Jr. asserting that he was “the most prevalent force” in his father’s life but the film completely ignored his character. “Every time those monsters have done an interview on national television, they have not even once mentioned my existence,” he said to the Daily Mail, naming the lead actors Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman.
Kate Hudson said to The Hollywood Reporter that she was still concentrating on the character she was playing when asked about the incident. “I met Claire and she is such a lovely lady, and she is very satisfied with the film,” Hudson remarked.
The actress also mentioned the awards she has been getting for the part and drew a parallel to her main role in Almost Famous. “When you are young and this happens, it’s a different thing — more like a surprise entrance, or a welcome, into this world,” is what she ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌thought.

Kate‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Hudson Finds The Awards Buzz “Inspiring” As Song Sung Blue Hits Theaters

Kate Hudson spoke of the awards buzz with regard to her in Song Sung Blue as “inspiring.”
“It makes me excited about the things in the future that I want to be doing. … You’re always only one part away from the whole thing feeling like a brand-new one,” she explained.
Song Sung Blue is now playing at cinemas. Among Hudson’s other projects, there is a second season of her Netflix comedy series Running Point that will be released this spring, according to the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌announcement.
