First Official Poster For Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Released Online

Producer Christopher Miller released the first official poster for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on his official Twitter account, and it can be viewed in the embedded tweet below. The poster appears to show the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man fighting Spider-Man 2099, so we can expect an epic showdown between these two Spider-Men in the film. However, since this poster was made specifically for the film’s crew, it remains to be seen if it will be used in the actual marketing campaign. But either way, it is still a great image, and fans will be thankful to Miller (who also co-directed The Lego Movie) for sharing it.

A sequel to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will once again see Miles Morales teaming up with fellow Spider-Men from alternate realities as they embark on an extravagant adventure across the Multiverse. Shameik Moore will return to voice Miles, with Hailee Steinfeld also returning as Gwen Stacey. Other cast members will include Oscar Isaac as the voice of Spider-Man 2099, Jake Johnson as the older Peter B. Parker, and Issa Rae as Spider-Woman. Interestingly, the Takuya Yamashiro version of Spider-Man from the live-action Japanese Spider-Man TV series will also make an appearance, although there is currently no word on who he will be voiced by. It has also not yet been confirmed if Nicolas Cage will return to voice Spider-Man Noir, so fans should keep their fingers crossed.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is being directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, and it will open in wide release on June 2, 2023. And if it ends up being anything like its predecessor, it will be safe to assume that distributor Sony Pictures will have another hit on their hands.
