Helen Mirren, 81, Gets Cozy with Tom Hardy at MobLand Season Two Premiere in London

Helen‍‌‍‍‌ Mirren and Tom Hardy Set the Record Straight

Tom Hardy Helen‍‌‍‍‌ Mirren, Baroness of West Carclife, seemed to have set aside any speculation that there was a fallout by the way she cuddled up with Tom Hardy at the MobLand Season 2 premiere in London on Thursday night. Reports suggest there was a bit of a row behind the scenes as Hardy is said to have had a difference of opinion with the production team during filming, and some have even speculated that the actor might have walked away from the Paramount+ series. Fellow star Pierce Brosnan also joined them for photos just after being warmly embraced by Mirren and Hardy at the red carpet. We can understand that the pair would be in quite a bit of tension if the news reported was true. Just before that, however, Mirren had stepped in a public defense of her very 48-year-old co-star—a sign she really thought that the actor had nothing to be blamed for if the situation was as tense as the news suggested. Mirren’s character—Maeve Harrigan—is a strong female lead in the crime drama and, perhaps, is one of the reasons that the actress chose to dress in a very eye-catching Jenny Packham’s silver glitter dress that would cost about £4,470. Mirren went all the way with the glimmer for the premiere, while Tom Hardy, who took more of a casual look, decided to forgo the typical suit and instead wear a simple white shirt and trousers, which cost the production about £825, by Rogue & Sons.

Guy‍‌‍‍‌ Ritchie’s Crime Thriller Returns as Stars Take Center Stage at the Season Two Premiere

Guy Ritchie’s crime thriller, which is set in London, comes back, taking viewers back to the world of Harrigans and their fixer, Harry Da Souza, a role played by Tom Hardy.
As usual, Pierce Brosnan, playing the role of Conrad Harrigan, was smartly dressed in a pinstripe blazer and a black-and-white-checked shirt. In a striking yellow Prabal Gurung dress without straps, Lara Pulver stole the spotlight, and she paired it with silver drop earrings while she stood with Dame Helen Mirren and Joanne Froggatt.
Emmett J. Scanlan showed off his body in a sheer black top under a black blazer, while other invitees were Millie Mackintosh, Roxy Horner, Kimberley Garner, and Nadiya Bychkova.
In addition, Hardy was the center of attention, not only for his acting but also for his daring fashion choices; for example, he wore a shirt with a blue painting of the Tower of Babel by Wilhelm von Kaulbach, a German painter. ‍

‌‍‍Helen‍‌‍‍‌ Mirren Supports Tom Hardy

Dame Helen Mirren has been a constant presence for her co-star, Tom, and she recently told everyone that they “have the right to f*** up” and supported Tom in the midst of the gossip.
The artist had first publicly shown her solidarity by posting a simple phrase on Instagram for Tom, saying “Love you now and always,” and adding that she will definitely work with Tom “in a heartbeat.”
Mirren continued and revealed her philosophy of working with others. Radio Times quotes, “There are things you do learn as you grow old. Working with people, that is.”
However, she admitted she might not have become more forgiving with getting older, but, on the other hand, she has noticed the importance of everyone having their way when it comes to differentiating methods of doing things at the individual level.
She emphasized, “Everyone is special in their own way”; everyone does something in accordance with their character. There is not just one way but countless of ‍‌‍‍‌them.”

‍‌‍‍‌Hellen Mirreen Supports Tom Hardy

Dame Helen Mirren has been a vocal supporter of Tom Hardy’s methods for the series, saying the most important thing is generating an atmosphere where everyone feels free to experiment.
She said, “The thing you really want is what’s going to be great on the screen or on the stage. If you think you have to know it beforehand, you probably won’t get there. The only way to achieve that is to let everyone get their creative juices flowing and be able to freely create, explore, or mess up.”
Helan further remarked that there is no singular way of doing things and also mentioned that “There are very few people who haven’t made mistakes themselves, so we have to come to a place where we are ready to make mistakes” with great humility and self-reflection.
Helen, who, along with Tom, takes part in the leading roles together with Lara Pulver, Mandeep Dhillon, and Teddie Allen, also gave recognition to the group dynamics of the drama.
“I have always been fond of working with a team. MobLand is pretty much a team project,” she said . “I am very much okay with ‍‌‍‍‌this.”
