When it comes to creative fan art, the work of Instagram user @dvglzv– a hugely talented Russian artist by the name of Vadim Dvoeglazov- truly takes the fan art concept to the next level. The artist has recreated various franchises- ranging from video games to television shows- in the classic comic book style to create artwork that looks like it was ripped directly from a 1960’s comic.
Twitter user @sitcomwanda put together all of the comic book artwork that @dvglza did for the Marvel and Disney Plus show WandaVision to create an awesome slideshow, which is how I happened upon Vadim’s incredible work. @dvglza created fan art comic book covers for every single WandaVision episode and each one is absolutely perfect. The whole idea of the comic book cover is to capture the main elements of that particular story whilst not giving away too much and this is what @dvglza excels at. Not only that but the fan art comic covers are also fantastically drawn, perfectly mirroring the old Marvel comic book covers whilst also being astounding pieces of art in their own right. There are also plenty of other franchises given the comic book treatment from Vadim over on Instagram, including the most recent instalment in the Marvel /Disney Plus shows, Loki.
Make sure to follow @dvglza on Instagram for more of their work and check out the Anti Hero Gallery where you can find Vadim’s work available for sale.
