John Carpenter Retrospective
The Fantasia Film Festival will be awarding John Carpenter with a Lifetime Achievement Award this week and if that isn’t enough to get you excited, the festival will also present a masterclass from Carpenter, where he’ll discuss everything from his own festival origin story to his awe-inspiring career.
We are huge fans of Carpenter’s work as a writer/director/musician, and so we’ve decided now would be a great time to look back at his incredible filmography— from his 1974 sci-fi comedy Dark Star to his 2011 thriller The Ward and everything in between.
Check out any (or all) of our articles below and be sure to come back all month long for our coverage of the fest!
