Britney Spears took her Instagram off for a short time, but she came back on Nov. 7 with a very ambiguous post about her peace protection. “A lot of things happened this year, it’s unbelievable… So get your ballerina [slippers], circle, and own your boundaries,” she said, referring to boundary-setting as “incredibly strict and somewhat of a form of prayer” and encouraging followers to “do you and keep it simple.”

She mentioned that it was a period of four months during which she “no longer had my private door” and was “forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere,” further explaining that she felt her freedom was “100 percent murdered and destroyed” and that her “wings were taken away” – which are also the same things she talks about in her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me.
