In his new book, You Thought You Knew, Kevin Federline reveals that a phone call between Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan—the three stars infamously called the “Bimbo Summit” in 2006—was the “final straw” in his marriage. Federline goes on to gratefully accuse Britney of neglecting their children in order to party. “While I was in Miami on a work trip, trying to keep up with my commitments, I received a call,” the ex backup dancer remembers of a moment that left him deeply wounded.

He alleges that after a friend of his dropped some marijuana at their house, Spears went on a “rampage” and it became their short‑lived marriage that broke down even more rapidly.

Federline mentions that violence reportedly did not stop at a mere slap; he cites an instance of fight in which Britney Spears threw a drink at him. He says that at his 2006 Playing With Fire release party he found “Britney and [a] young starlet friend snorting a fat line of coke off the table” and that he caught them red-handed. After he implored her not to go home and breastfeed as a result of her alleged drug use, she “threw a drink” in his face. “That was the proverbial final straw, the breastfeeding thing. Her reaction. That’s what ended us,” he states.

Federline Points to Scary Behavior; Spears’ Side Refuses

Claiming it in his book, Federline says that Britney Spears hit their eldest son, said she wished their children were dead, and even saw them sleeping while holding a knife. He also alleges that she was unfaithful in the beginning of their romantic relationship and that she reached out to ex Justin Timberlake by the way of a text the day before their wedding.
Neither Spears nor her team have refuted the claims one by one, but her representative told Page Six: “Kevin’s book is full of lies and once again, he and the people around him are making money at her expense. Unfortunately, it happens just after the termination of child support with Kevin.”

Spears Responds: Kids First, “Enough” of the Claims

Spears’ representative is quoted as saying: “She is focused on her children … and their well-being during this outrageous thing,” implying that she has already “laid out her story” in her memoir The Woman in Me from October 2023.
In a desperate attempt to clarify her position, Spears took to her social media to lay out the facts: “The lying and misleading tactics that my ex-husband keeps doing to me are very damaging and draining to me. Truth be told, I am quite a clever woman and for the last five years I have been trying to live a spiritual and private life. I talk about it because I have had enough and any real woman would do the same.”
