Kelly Osbourne Speaks Out Against Body-Shaming Trolls After BRIT Awards Appearance
Kelly Osbourne has hit out at body-shaming trolls in a very angry letter and she has also revealed that she is going through the “hardest time” in her life after the death of her dad Ozzy Osbourne.
After attending the 2026 BRIT Awards with her mother, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Harming someone who is clearly going through something has a special kind of cruelty.”
“Kicking me while I’m down, not believing that I’m in pain, using my struggles as a gossip topic and turning away from me when I need support and love the most,” the former reality star concluded.

Kelly Osbourne says she “really shouldn’t even have to defend” herself
Kelly Osbourne took the matter even further on Instagram where she slammed the people who had criticized her looks for lacking compassion.
“None of it is a sign of strength; on the contrary, it only shows a deep lack of compassion and morally depraved character,” she said.
The former Fashion Police host and 41-year-old, Kelly Osbourne, stated that she “is going through the toughest time of her life” and that she “really shouldn’t have to defend herself.”
“However, I’m not going to let myself be dehumanized in this manner!” she finished.
Kelly Osbourne made a public statement after her 2026 BRIT Awards appearance on Saturday, where a few fans were concerned about her extremely thin look.
Kelly Osbourne Calls Critics “Disgusting” After BRIT Awards
On Saturday, Kelly Osbourne’s visit to the 2026 BRIT Awards was marked by her choice of a tight, black, floor-length dress that she wore with her mother, Sharon Osbourne, 73, which caused a lot of criticism.
Just a few days before the event, Osbourne was in the news for dissing the critics who attacked her for looking thinner. “I literally can’t believe some human beings are so disgusting!” she said in her Instagram Stories on Feb. 23, accompanying the message with a screenshot of the hateful comment. “This kind of abuse is not something that anybody deserves!” she concluded.
In an interview last December, Osbourne explained that the major change in her weight was from grieving after the passing of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away from a heart attack in July 2025 at the age of 76.

Kelly Osbourne and Sharon Fight Back Against Critics After Weight Loss Comments
Kelly Osbourne has already dealt with the nasty remarks in quite a bold way in December when she pointed out the people making fun of her looks.
“To those people who keep thinking they are being funny and mean by writing comments such as, ‘Are you ill,’ ‘Get off Ozempic,’ or ‘You don’t look right,'” she told. “Well, my dad just died, and I’m struggling, and the only thing that I’m holding on to right now is my family. And I have chosen to share with you my life content and a happy side of my life, not a sad one.”
“To all those people – go and f–k yourselves,” she added.
Sharon Osbourne also came to Kelly’s defense, telling the media that her daughter ‘isn’t able to eat now’ because of the loss.
“How many times have we made a mistake about someone because of our judgment?” the former X Factor host asked. “But you and I don’t go to that extent where we’d spend a second — wasting a second of our lives in writing something about them. Going on their site, taking their time, writing. That’s a lot of effort goes into that.”
