Heidi Defends Ex-Husband Seal Over Lupus Scars

Heidi Klum recently shared her perspective on her marriage with Seal and how she saw her ex-husband’s “beautiful” look in a very rare comment about him. The supermodel is the one who talked about the criticism that Seal’s skin had to endure in an interview.”
“Back when I was married to him, [people] would ask, ‘How can he have this ugly skin?’ “Actually, he has lupus, and quite frankly, to me he looks beautiful,” she said exclusively to Us Weekly. “You​‍​‌‍​‍‌ can’t please everyone. Not everyone will like how you look. But it is important that you look in the mirror and say to yourself, “I like the way I look,” she said. “I found my niche, and I’m happy with it.”
Seal was 21 when he was diagnosed with lupus and had to battle discoid lupus, one of the forms of the disease, which, as he revealed, among other things, leaves the skin of the patient scarred in the shape of coins.
