Brittany Cartwright, one of the stars of The Valley, has been sharing the worse side of motherhood to the fans. In the sneak peek of Are You Okay? podcast, Brittany who is 37 years old, told that her 5 year old son, Cruz, gave her quite a shock when he put his excrement on her face while he was sleeping.
Brittany Cartwright and her ex, Jax Taylor, are the parents of a 5-year-old son, Cruz. She said that the event took place when they were co-sleeping, and it happened to be in the middle of the night. She also went on to say that many parents may understand how unpredictable, in some ways, child rearing can be, especially if the child is non-verbal. She mentioned that she has been very open in talking about Cruz’s autism and also that he is non-verbal.
“I woke up, and I could just smell something, ” Brittany said, referring to the incident that happened around 3 a.m. At first, she was perplexed by the smell, but then it dawned on her that the boy had defecated in his diaper and had used it to get her attention. “He rubbed the poop all over my face, ” she said, as she was telling about the “stinky situation,” which was a physical rude awakening.

The former Vanderpump Rules star only realized how bad the “feces facial” (a phrase made popular by the show’s host, Bri Morales) was after she started cleaning it up. Brittany recounted her 3 a.m. cleanup drama, elaborated that the feces even got on Cruz’s hands and the bedsheets, so the whole family had to take a bath and do a load of laundry before coming to bed again.
In fact, this is even not the first time that Cruz has used bodily fluids as a way to wake up. Brittany shared that their son, who uses other sensory methods to communicate because he doesn’t speak, once woke her up by rubbing blood on her face while experiencing a nosebleed. Brittany believes that these incidents are his one of a kind ways of letting her know that something is wrong and that he requires her care.
Brittany Cartwright Celebrates Son Cruz Despite Messy Parenting Challenges
Along with occasional late-night chaos, Brittany Cartwright’s love for her son has not changed at all. The native of Kentucky was last seen splurging to mark Cruz’s 5th birthday, the celebration being a small intimate one with only family and friends.
After sharing a touching post on instagram on April 12, Brittany shared how proud she was of her only kid. “You are pure magic and light up everyone’s life that knows you, ” she stated, palabras clave : beautiful, smart, unique.
