However, apparently the band’s frontman is now not happy with Gen Z and influencers. In California, Roger Daltrey ridiculed Gen Z and influencers by asking the former how many friends they have. In California, the 82-year-old rock and roll legend Roger Daltrey did not have a problem expressing his views on social media to an audience in Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, Las Vegas. Mr Daltrey, the 82-year-old frontman, said social media was ‘destroying civilisation.’
Certainly, Daltrey, a father of 8, who said, ‘When you think about it, we’ve come to this new world of social media that seems to be destroying civilization. And it happens to be, a sort of public space for anyone to scream, but, in fact, nobody is even f***ing listening.’

And how many friends do you really have if you only look at Oh, I got all these likes’? That’s just your ego. Release. Release. It is not worth it.’ At the end of his comments, he joked a bit: ‘Closer than you think.’

Mr. Daltrey now resides in Sussex, leading a humble life with his second wife, Heather. The Who was created by him in 1964 with his fellow music friends: a group that at that point included Pete Townshend, a lead vocalist and guitarist; the bassist, John Entwistle; and the drummer, Keith Moon, in London.
The drummer of the band, Moon, died suddenly at the age of 32 in 1978, and shortly before the century ended, Entwistle breathed his last on a rainy day at the age of 57 in 2002.
