Olivia Colman, 52, Shows Off Grey Transformation at Wicker Premiere
Olivia Colman flaunted her freshly grey hair while looking beautiful in a high-fashion Celine dress at the premiere of her brand-new film called Wicker during the London Film Festival earlier this evening.
The actress, who is 52 years old, is now embracing her natural grey hair and curls after putting aside her brunette style. At BFI Southbank, she was seen arm in arm with her husband, Ed Sinclair, a writer and former director of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The happy couple has been married for quite a while, since the year 2001, and now are the proud parents of three children. They are often described as having a great relationship, as they walked the red carpet together and enjoyed each other’s company. At the same time, one of Colman’s co-actors, Alexander Skarsgård (50), was getting a lot of attention, particularly for his feet. On top of the feet were quirky Saint Laurent clear shoes that caught everyone’s attention as he walked in.
The actor, who was a very popular wicker man, in one of the pictures, was spotted in an unusual golden suit made by the designer of Saint Laurent for the spring/summer 2027 collection, which the designer showed off at Paris Fashion Week last week.
Meanwhile, Olivia Colman and Skinner were joined on the occasion of the premieres of their films by Debicki, another member of the production team. Debicki, the beautiful actress (36), looked stunning in a black, revealing, glitzy suit and wore exquisite Chaumet jewels.
Much to the bewilderment of everyone, people have been left very puzzled and are saying that the idea for the new movie is strange.

Olivia Colman’s Bizarre New Film Wicker Sees Her Marry a Man Made of Wicker
Described as ‘vulgar, horny, yet unexpectedly heartwarming’, Wicker is Colm’s second movie since she was nominated for an Academy Award in 2021 as an actress in The Favourite. The film is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s children’s tales and follows a lonely and quite strange old fisherwoman named Moll (played by Colman). Moll’s romantic life is constantly hindered by the fishy smell she exudes, so she is desperate for romantic connection.
For this reason, she calls a local basket manufacturer, an actor, Peter Dinklage (from Game of Thrones, playing one of the most unforgettable characters of the series), to get her a love partner made out of wicker. Come alive, Wicker Man, actor from Hollywood. Alexander quickly becomes the source of many women’s jealousy in the village, and it even puts an end to their peaceful way of living.
The first official poster of the movie was very highly anticipated and appeared in the middle of July. Some people said that one of the reasons they were not able to look at Colman and Skargard together was that they found that the scenes are quite explicit and not suitable for children or anyone under 16, according to the critics.
As a top Hollywood actress, Colman is well acquainted with shooting a romantic drama set in the Regency period, but the episode where she kisses a wicker man was quite different from the scenes she has shot before. Just like the first trailer, the clip starts with an erotic scene where Colman lies on her back, getting pleasure from passion, and then suddenly is pulled off of her bed before the whole thing is interrupted.
Colman’s village makes fun of her as she lives as a bachelor and is never seen to be in a romantic relationship with someone else. Peter then follows her request that he make a husband for her by weaving one out of wicker, and he will finally be living the married life that she wants with her in a church.
Olivia Colman’s Racy Scenes With Wicker Husband Leave Fans Baffled
Then there is another exciting and very intimate scene following in which Olivia Colman undresses her wicker partner, and she can’t believe what she sees, literally taking over as she grabs him in a passionate embrace.
Besides villagers, the characters are Phil Daniels of Quadraphobia and Saltburn’s Richard E. Grant, besides Elizabeth Debicki of the Crown, who are soon getting obsessed with the couple and how they relate to each other—the men wanting the wicker man pushed off and the women getting very jealous.
Upon the trailer’s release, many viewers, who seem to get stuck in the comments section and do not have much in terms of imagination, posted some pretty odd things like ‘Olivia has never made an average flick, and I just love that’ and ‘Hm. Well done to her anyway. The lady wants a hot, monstrous husband; who am I to judge? ”To be honest, it seems like it might contain a deeper or more philosophical message’;
‘This is just amazing—I’m totally excited about this, and it looks like they’ve got the right actors.
Others thought of Wicker as being somehow close to the story of witches. Elphaba in the musical Wicked, loving the Scarecrow and the lonely cleaner, falls in love with an aquatic being in the shape of water.

Olivia Says Wicker Is One Of Her Top Three Favourite Scripts
The actors have shared insights regarding the weirdness of this offbeat romantic drama adaptation of Ursula Wills’ short work, titled The Wicker Husband. Elizabeth said, ‘Her name is the tailor’s wife; in this story I act as a female character.’
‘She’s totally depressed yet not aware until she watches the other villager woman, who is a pretty ugly stinky fisherwoman, and she decides to live her life differently, and through her, my character gets shaken completely.
To discuss his own part, Peter told us, ‘His part as well is outsider as the fisherwoman is. So their relationship with that stinking fisherwoman, but I don’t believe that the basketmaker even smells the stink.
In the interim, Olivia Colman has praised the movie: ‘In my mind, it’s one of the three greatest scripts I’ve ever been given to read.’ It was first presented to the audience at the Sundance Film Festival in January. It’s the Rotten Tomatoes reviews site that now shows 91 percent ‘freshest status’ for the movie.
