Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf to Divorce
Mia Goth has started divorce proceedings from Shia LaBeouf after a ten-year-long marriage.
Mia Goth, who is 32 years old, says they ‘cannot reconcile’ anymore as the reason for the breakup. According to the documents made public by The Daily Mail last Tuesday, the separation happened on July 28, 2025, as per the documents provided. They tied the knot on October 10, 2016, and their child Isabel, who is now four, was born in 2022. Mia Goth, for her part, is the one asking for the girl child’s legal and physical custody and is also proposing a change in the court’s ability to award the couple, Shia LaBeouf, 40, with spousal support.
The mail has got in touch with the spokespersons of Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf for their comments; however, we have not gotten a response till now.
As the divorce proceedings kick off, it is the second incident in the life of LaBoeuf that has created turbulence in his life. A few weeks back, he was seen being arrested for participating in a drunk and drunken street fight at a bar in New Orleans.

Shia LaBeouf Pleaded Guilty To Battery After New Orleans Bar Brawl
In June, LaBeouf entered guilty pleas to three charges of simple battery. Judge Juana Marine-Lombard of Orleans Parish decided to suspend the actor’s six-month imprisonment and place him on two years of probation. Also, LaBeouf was required not to approach the bar, as well as the victims. LaBeouf denied that he suffers from a drinking problem in an exclusive interview that he did with journalist and YouTuber Andrew Callaghan just after his February arrest.
During the same interview, when he denied that drinking alcohol contributes a lot towards his aggression, he also admitted that he doesn’t believe in the healing effect of rehab. “LaBeouf was of the opinion that the root cause of the angry outbursts that led to his aggressive behavior during Mardi Gras was the issue of “anger and ego” rather than alcohol,” the reporter wrote.
The Hollywood reporter also mentioned that LaBeouf said, “I find big gay people scary.” “When I’m standing by myself and three gay guys are next to me touching my leg, I get scared,” said LaBeouf to Callaghan.
He concluded the remark with an apology. “Sorry for the remark. If that’s a homophobic thing, then that’s who I am.” The man who recently changed his religion to Catholicism is no stranger to problems in the legal system. A notable event in this regard is the arrest of LaBeouf in the city of New York back in 2017, when he was suspected of being physically violent during a livestream.
A Timeline Of Mia Goth And Shia LaBeouf’s Tumultuous 10-Year Marriage
While later that year he was on location in Georgia making movies for “The Peanut Butter Falcon,” the police picked him up because he was so drunk in public, and then they accused him of public disorder and obstruction. As a result, he got probation only. In 2020, the actor was charged with minor battery and theft.
The filmmaker once said, “Goth was a person who not just brought me light but gave me hope when I had run into the ground emotionally and was really fed up.” On an episode of the Real Ones podcast, he admitted that, “She showed me the light and gave me hope when I was really down to my last fumes.” The two began dating shortly after meeting each other in the set of “Nymphomaniac: Vol. II” in 2012 and married in Las Vegas in 2016.
As the couple’s relationship unfolded, many would say that one could never be certain about their fate. As they could be seen arguing so loudly, an argument was caught on camera in 2015, and they finally split in 2018. A source then stated that Page Six was informed by them about filing for divorce. The parting wasn’t acrimonious, and everything regarding the divorce was kept private.
The couple reunited in 2020. A year later the news came out about the actress giving birth to their child, and a few years went by before the child was born. The baby of the X man, they called Isabel, who was a newborn in March of that year. When they were apart, he was dating singer FKA Twigs during 2019.
Twigs brought a legal case in which he could have been charged with sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, including deliberately infecting the singer with an STI, according to the report of the lawsuit in 12/20. All the allegations were denied by LaBeouf. The claimant sought $10 million compensation for alleged sexual battery, physical assault, and emotional distress. Their legal fight came to an end in July 2016 when the English musician dismissed all charges against a Hollywood star with prejudice, so the case could never happen again.

FKA Twigs Is No Longer Silenced By NDA In Shia LaBeouf Settlement, Judge Rules
On Tuesday, The Daily Mail reported that Twigs agreed to settle her lawsuit with LaBeouf, with court documents stating that, after a judge had concluded Twigs could no longer be restricted via a nondisclosure agreement, the English singer got her way.
“The parties’ June 2025 settlement of Twigs versus LaBeouf in 2020 contained NDAs (non-disclosure provisions) that are now acknowledged by Defendant Shia LaBeouf’s decision to terminate the NDAs, so in this matter the court has made the correct decision, and this ruling ends a matter between two individuals,” the judge said in a statement.
The document further noted that NDA has contravened California’s Stand Together Against Non-Disclosure Act, a statute adopted in 2018 that bars the use of confidential and non-disclosure clauses in settlements of suits relating to sexual assault, sexual harassment, and sex-based discrimination.
Also, in May, a sworn statement submitted by the person responsible for the STAND ACT, Senator Connie M. Leyva, confirmed this perspective. Twill’s attorney drafted the settlement notice and included in it that the performer who is 38 years old and who goes by the name Tahliah Debrett Barnett is ‘free to discuss her own experience and also to speak about and support the charitable and other causes of her choosing without fear of reprisal.’
FKA Twigs’ Lawyer Says Settlement Is A Victory For Survivors
In a statement delivered to the Daily Mail, musician’s lawyer Rosengart Mathew Rosengart, famed for representing Britney Spears in her conservatorship case, said, ‘Twigs has done the right thing by getting up there and speaking out on behalf of female victims of sexual abuse—the cause greater than herself.
Winning her case will give her the freedom to speak openly about her story, speak out for other less-privileged women, and support charities of her choice, Rosengart added.
Shawn Holley, the attorney for LaBeouf, in a press release through the Daily Mail, said, ‘Shia wants Twigs the best in both life and career; therefore, he has chosen to settle the matter that has taken such a long duration of time after the couple broke down, and Twigs has kept talking about the incident for years, so there is no obstacle now for her from doing it again.’
