Mia Goth looked incredible on Saturday, as it was the first time she was spotted since getting a divorce from LaBeouf. 32-year-old Mia Goth revealed her fabulous new look in the glamorous outfit during the Academy Museum Gala event by the side of her bounce blond locks and a slim-fitting black suit – a short time ago, when Mia filed for a divorce from her 40-year-old Transformers actor husband, who has already spent a decade married to her.
Mia Goth dressed to kill in a black velvet evening dress adorned with shimmering black patches, which were matched with a diamond-encrusted clutch.
The sixth-annual Academy Museum Gala in LA turned out to be an extremely star-packed affair. Among those attending was Taylor Swift, who was expected to deliver a captivating live number. A new single by Swift titled I Knew It, I Knew You, written especially for Toy Story 5 – the summer cinematic triumph that brought in huge audience numbers – makes her eligible for an Oscar nomination at next year’s ceremony.
The Academy Museum Gala this time pays tribute to Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo, and director of Halloween John Carpenter. Theron will be awarded the Icon Recognition for her global influence, which, at past events, went to Julia Roberts, Penélope Cruz, Meryl Streep, and Rita Moreno.
Mia Goth filed the paperwork on October 30th, 2022, through The Daily Mail and stated, as per the reasons for their breakup, the pair had been at odds over irreconcilable differences. However, it was July 28, 2025, when the couple was officially reported to have broken up.

They were married on October 10, 2016, and had a baby girl named Isabel, who is four years old now in 2022. Goth is seeking to have primary legal and physical custody of Isabel. In addition, she wants the court to end the possibility of awarding her or LaBeouf, 40, spousal support.
Among other things, LaBeouf’s divorce petition is a result of recent upheavals in his life, as he was arrested in New Orleans following a drunken bar fight. Come June, LaBeouf admitted his presence during the three incidents of simple battery. The judge of Orleans Parish, Juana Marine-Lombard, gave him a six-month suspended sentence along with probation for two years. Besides that, he was ordered not to make contact with the victims or the bar.
Only a few days after his February arrest, LaBeouf denied in an interview with journalist and YouTuber Andrew Callaghan that he had a ‘drinking problem’. He also thought that rehab wouldn’t do much for him. In fact, LaBeouf told Callaghan that the main reasons behind his aggressive behaviour during Mardi Gras were more his ‘anger and ego’ rather than the effect of alcohol. LaBeouf even stated that ‘big gay people are scary to me.’
‘When I’m just standing there by myself and three gay guys are next to me and touching my leg, I get frightened,’ he told Callaghan. ‘I’m sorry. If that’s homophobic, then I’m that.’
Mia Goth Files to End Decade-Long Marriage to Shia LaBeouf
LaBeouf, who became a Catholic several years ago, had been getting into trouble with the police from time to time through his career. One such occurrence was in the year 2017, when he was arrested in New York City under suspicion of attack during an internet streaming session.
While shooting The Peanut Butter Falcon in Georgia later that same year, he ran into the law again this time for public drunkenness and found himself in a court accused of disorderly conduct and obstruction and eventually ordered to take probation.
In 2020, LaBeouf faced one county case – battery and another of petty theft – committed while still living in Los Angeles. LaBeouf credits Gothic as the one person who ‘saved [his] fing life’. Once, he explained on an episode of the Real Ones podcast: ‘She gave me hope when I was running on such little hope only that she would be here.’ The two officially started dating in December 2012 after meeting at the location of Nymphomaniac: Vol II and married in Las Vegas in 2016.
It is not unusual to have ups and downs. The lovebirds even were involved in a very public argument, one that was recorded, in 2015. They finally agreed to go their separate ways in 2018.
A Page Six source said, ‘Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation seems to be peaceful, and all confidential issues regarding the divorce will be kept as such.’
They reunited in 2020, when they both got pregnant. In 2022, it’s known they had a child, and X, the mother, gave birth to Isabel in March of that year. When they were apart, FKA Twigs, the singer, started dating him in 2019.
Shia LaBeouf Settles FKA Twigs Lawsuit
Twigs sued LaBeouf in December 2020 at an upscale court to hold the actor responsible for sexual, physical and emotional assaults in addition to knowingly transmitting her an STD.
In the case, the actress was looking for $10 million in monetary relief for the three charges of sexual battery, assault and emotional distress. Twigs requested dismissal of the case against LaBeouf with prejudicial effects. This means that any further litigation against LaBeouf is barred, and it is no longer possible for the British hitmaker to go into court with the same case.
Twigs had been forced to sign a secrecy agreement so as to avoid revealing her story to the world. According to the Daily Mail report dated Tuesday, she has come to a financial agreement with LaBeouf.
Twigs had requested that the judge in the case of settling the lawsuit between her and LaBeouf rule that the singer would not be silent through an NDA. The English judge gave permission to the Los Angeles Superior Court to publish the documents, and it says in the court filing:
‘By agreement with Plaintiff, the non-disclosure provisions under the June 2025 parties’ settlement of the 2020 lawsuit have already been terminated and declared invalid. This case, therefore, has achieved its purpose.’
The document mentioned how the NDA breached California’s Stand Together Against Non-Disclosure Act. This new act bans the imposition of confidentiality and non-disclosure provisions in settlement agreements that cover situations of sexual assault, harassment, and sex-based misconduct. LaBeouf’s lawyer Shawn Holley said in a statement to the Daily Mail, ‘Shia hopes the best for Twigs in her personal and professional life, and accordingly, they have decided to conclude the long-term dispute. Twigs has been talking about this issue for a long time, and there will be no barriers to stop her from continuing to do so.’
