Comedian Vic Reeves was sent to the hospital right away after a wedding incident where he collapsed.
Vic Reeves, 67, Collapses At Friend’s Wedding In Poole
The 67-year-old Vic Reeves comedy legend was said to have had a serious deterioration of health after apparently overexerting himself while dancing before being taken from the dance floor. Vic, whose real name is Jim Moir, it appears, had a medical emergency while at a pals’ wedding in Poole.
The comedian was enjoying himself at the Hotel du Vin, but Vic’s situation rapidly decreased when he reportedly collapsed in front of guests who raised serious concern.
“Vic was telling jokes and entertaining people—and obviously everyone was going to the bar with all the fun as the party went on just as you’d expect.”
“But it seemed that all of a sudden it went quite drastically bad—there was a commotion in the middle of the crowd, and staff were being instructed to call for an ambulance, which turned out to be for Vic, who obviously was in a terrible state.”

Vic and Wife Nancy’s Harbour Boat Trip Before Wedding Scare
I guess everything happened so rapidly. It’s pretty fast moving. The Sun spoke to Vic’s representatives for comment and was referred to his agent.
He had just been having a good time together with Nancy Sorrell (52), his wife, after celebrating the wedding of his friends. It seems as though after a pleasant seaside trip, Vic had an accident and things went out of control. Vic was very close to his wife, Nancy, and their union, which was a long-lasting, romantic, beautiful, and harmonious one, has been their love story with the audience.
Besides being a great comedian and an entertainer, he is a gifted musician, and his musical talents have come to the light as a result of his contributions to several singles and his solo effort, the album entitled “I Will Cure You”.
Vic Reeves Reveals Inoperable Head Tumour Needs Regular MRI Scans
In 2021, Vic revealed he had a non-surgically removable tumour in his head that has left him permanently deaf in one ear – he therefore decided to give up his stereo albums. The performer has explained that he undergoes MRI scans quite often to monitor the tumour.
The comedian of the Vic and Bob duo said that I’ve got a vestibular schwannoma – it’s a lump under a nerve in my head. I’ve been totally deaf in my left ear, 100%, and it’s not going to get any better.
To all intents and purposes, it’s like the size of a grape. I’m very glad they can leave it alone and just monitor the tumour through my regular MRI scans. It isn’t cancer; they cannot take the tumour out, but they can make it smaller or leave it as it is and watch its growth, which in Vic’s case that’s the way they’ve been doing.
The eardrum, the brain – a nerve that takes all the information from the ear to the brain – that’s where the tumour has been located, right in between the nerves so that it has been cut or snapped by the tumour and you can’t reattach the nerves.
