Selena Gomez Stuns in Custom Ralph Lauren at Her Wedding
On September 27th, Selena Gomez dazzled the sun-drenched state of California with a custom-made Ralph Lauren wedding dress before going on to marry music producer Benny Blanco.
The 33-year-old singer and actress opted for a floral halter neck gown with a corseted top and Blanco, 37, was also in Ralph Lauren for the event.
Gomez opted for celebrity stylist Renato Campora to work his magic on her hair for a romantic bridal look with Joico haircare. “In getting Selena Gomez’s hair ready for a celebration of joy, unity, and love, every detail had to be spot on,” Campora said, adding that he cleaned the hair with Joico’s Defy Damage Protective Shampoo and used the Defy Damage KBOND20 Power Masque for a 30-minute treatment.

After working on Selena Gomez’s hair, Renato Campora wrapped it in a towel, sectioned it, and with a rat‑tail comb created a deep side part. Next, he made the application of Joico’s JoiWhip Design Foam to several small sections, blow‑dried each with a large round brush, and then pinned them to cool.
In the next step, Campora used a three‑quarter‑inch curling iron to make a marcel wave pattern around Selena’s face, gave her hair a wrap and went on curling the remaining strands. He ended the look with Joico’s Hold Hero High Hold & Shine Boosting Finishing Spray for hold and shine over time which was a nice and loving detail for her Ralph Lauren dress.
Relationship Timeline and Engagement
It was after working together on their March album, I Said I Love You First… And You Said It Back, that Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco made their love known to the public in December 2023 and got engaged a year later, in December 2024.
Blanco shared that he asked Selena using a ring that she had a part in creating — a stunning marquise diamond giving a subtle homage to her track “Good for You.” Gomez, tweeting the event on Dec. 11, 2024, wrote, “forever starts now..”

Benny Blanco was out with his buddies marking the occasion before his big day. He went to Resorts World in Las Vegas for his bachelor party and indulged Instagram Stories of the skyline views, spa lounging, and caviar tastings.
On the other hand, Selena Gomez stayed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and had fun. She donned three white bridal-inspired outfits — a backless minidress, a ruffled mini, and a veil embroidered with “bride to be” for the photoshoot.
The singer and her pals had a great time at the beach and were decked out in matching sweatsuits during their trip. In one photo, the bride-to-be was standing with her back to the camera in front of balloons that read “Mrs. Levin” — a reference to Blanco’s full name, Benjamin Levin.
Keeping Wedding Plans Under Wraps
They kept things extremely secretive with Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco not revealing much about their wedding and the celebration in the lead-up to their nuptials. On an April visit to the Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware podcast, the pair were jokingly claiming that most of their wedding plans were undone except for some food ideas.
At one point, they were even seriously discussing the possibility of not having a first dance. “We probably won’t do that kind of one because they’re a little — I feel embarrassed,” Gomez remarked and Blanco adding humorously, “She’s shy.”

During a joint interview with Justin Bieber for Interview magazine in February, Selena Gomez reminisced about when she met Benny Blanco and their relationship. She admitted that she didn’t “have life figured out in any way,” when giving a piece of relationship advice, but underscored how Blanco makes her feel.
“My take on it, in a very basic manner, is that I feel valued actually. I feel that someone notices me. I feel that I am treated with respect. And I think that’s probably all I’ve ever really wanted,” she said.

Selena Gomez confessed that she and Benny Blanco’s relationship simply happened at the best time. “He is so weirded out when I tell him, but to be honest, 10 years ago, I was not in a place in my life where I could have accepted the kind of patience, the kind of love that he gives me,” she said in an Interview magazine article.
On the other hand, Blanco has also said that he loves Gomez and is eagerly anticipating their future together. “When I see her … I am always just like, I don’t know, a world where it could be better than this,” he shared on The Howard Stern Show in May 2024. “People always told me this, but when you know, you find out the moment you meet your best friend — she really is my best friend.”
