Nicole Kidman is filling up her calendar and tightly holding on to her schedule as she goes through the separation from Keith Urban after 19 years of marriage.
The Moulin Rouge actress, 58, has a lot of projects scheduled for 2026. She is practically done with a sequel to 1998’s Practical Magic, which was postponed for a long time, besides Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Scarpetta, the new productions, the last one being filmed in her current hometown of Nashville.
Moreover, Kidman is also preparing for the next year’s third season of Big Little Lies with Witherspoon although it has been confirmed that Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz, and Shailene Woodley will not be returning.

During an Australian radio show, Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max in the Morning, a host asked Urban about the upcoming film in which Kidman and Efron are supposed to be the love interest; thus, few moments after the question, Urban was seen leaving the Zoom call abruptly. E! News reported that actress Nicole Kidman has filed an application intending to be a resident of Portugal, and it is believed that her husband Keith Urban will follow her.
The E! source said, “Keith was unable to travel to Portugal for this particular appointment as he is currently on tour in the U.S. As a rule, applicants have to be physically present to apply, so he will probably doing his paperwork at a different location on a date that is convenient for his tour.”

Nonetheless, Kidman was termed as the “primary residential parent,” with the girls spending 306 days a year with their mother and 59 days with their father, who would have the children every other weekend.
E! News has obtained the document that stipulates no one would be paying child support. The plan, however, permitted parents to “treat each other and each child in a manner that would be conducive to providing love, stability, consistency, and nurturing to the child even though they are divorced. They will not talk against each other or the family members of the other parent. They will also let each child get love from the other parent and feel comfortable with both families.”
Aug. 29, 2025: Keith Urban Signs Paperwork
Keith Urban took an official step with the Marital Dissolution Agreement on Aug. 29, as per the paperwork he signed and had his signature certified, according to documents E! News accessed. The agreement detailed that Nicole Kidman was “going to be the one to file a divorce case against” him because they could not get along, and also stated that each party would not be entitled to maintenance or support.
On that day, Urban also approved the Parenting Plan that was about the parental custody of their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
Sept. 6, 2025: Nicole Kidman Signs Paperwork
The signing of the Parenting Plan took place in the presence of a notary a week after Nicole Kidman had the Marital Dissolution Agreement notarized.
