Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari Meet Once Again, No More Feud Rumors from Laguna Beach

Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari Reunite—Feud Rumors Put to Rest

After an almost two-decade period since their fight visible on camera, the former Laguna Beach cast members, Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari, have gone public with a joint photo, indicating a ceasefire. Kristin’s caption to her Oct. 11 post, “No more team Lauren or team Kristin shirts, everyone!,” is also quite telling.

Style, Nostalgia, and a Truce

At the event, the women chose to wear outfits that matched in color and both looked beautiful. Kristin was in a black mini skirt, crop top, and jacket, whereas Lauren wore white jeans and a matching linen vest. Their perfect smiles exposed their pearls and their harmony-toned clothes were the reasons why commenters appeared. A lot of them pointed out the Laguna Beach episode “A Black and White Affair” in which the trio’s love story with Stephen Colletti was the main theme, and hence, the fans’ references to the title of the episode.
While some fans just expressed their delight at the fact that Kristin and Lauren – LC – have stepped away from the past and declared a truce forever.

Millennials Rejoice—and More Laguna Alums Reunite

One spectator exclaimed, “The millennial generation is fully healed,” whereas another, making light of the situation, remarked, “After viewing this post, millennials collectively healing their trauma.”
Besides Lauren and Kristin, a few alouds from Laguna Beach have also made up their minds to catch up. A reunion was confirmed to be shooting towards the end of September, and since then, more ex-cast members have been spotted meeting up to celebrate the event.

Back to the Beginning: Laguna Beach Reunion Set for 2026

Lauren Conrad has brought the news of the long-standing rumor about the Laguna Beach reunion to light via her Instagram. She shared several old cast pictures, gave a little hint with the quoted line from the theme song of the series, ‘Let’s go back to the beginning… Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026.’
Not only that, Lauren, who was seen sharing a cozy moment with Kristin Cavallari, also met with Stephen, Trey, Talan, and Dieter for a reunion. Talan uploaded a video of the group at the beach with the caption, ‘California here we come.’ In the video, one can see Lauren taking a picture of the guys.’

Lauren Conrad

I cracked up when Teen Vogue’s Lisa Love said to Lauren, “You will always be known as the girl who didn’t go to Paris.” (Actually, a line borrowed from Vogue’s Anna Wintour, a 2019 Hills deep dive revealed.) Besides that (admittedly questionable) moment over a decade ago—and her breakup with Jason Wahler—LC has accumulated a lot more appropriate titles: New York Times best‑selling author; co‑founder of The Little Market, a company that supports female artisans worldwide; and, of course, fashion designer, with her LC Lauren Conrad collection for Kohl’s being the start of a now diverse lifestyle empire.
Her wedding to William Tell, ex-rocker turned law school grad, was a lovely Pinterest moment in 2014, long after the brawls outside Les Deux. Their second son, Charlie Wolf Tell, was born in 2019 to join big brother Liam James Tell.

Kristin Cavallari

E!’s Very Cavallari lead who spoiled no one’s bad girl routine but might have traded well for boss mode, Kristin Cavallari, went on to launch and grow her lifestyle brand Uncommon James, which is now the second outlet in Chicago, having opened there last fall. She’s also expanded her empire with a Chinese Laundry shoe line and two cookbooks—True Comfort, Sept. 29, coming a little over two years after her New York Times best-seller, True Roots.
They were actually teammates for a decade and she and ex-NFL quarterback Jay Cutler are the parents of three children, two boys Camden Jack Cutler and Jaxon Wyatt Cutler, and a girl Saylor James Cutler. That was the last time they were together and then they parted in April 2020. In addition, Kristin made a very short and unusual appearance in The Hills: New Beginnings season 2 in 2021.

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt

The Hills’ resident villains are one of the most surprising reality TV transformations where they have become the family parents to the sons Gunner and Ryker—jokingly admitting being part of the genre’s mythos. After a period of time that could be defined as a “celebrity crisis” during which they exhibited their marital trouble (reality or fiction) on the Celebrity Big Brother (UK), I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, etc., they decided to run an election to let Speidi become famous again, which they won going on to produce The Hills: New Beginnings reboot in 2019 successfully. “Spencer and I are basically reality TV stars,” Heidi informed Vogue. The duo, having learned from their extravagance period, have developed their talent to include: a joint podcast for the tea, and his Pratt Daddy crystal business for the coins.

Lo Bosworth

Lo Bosworth, LC’s ex-BFF, would actually choose not to be part of this story. After a producer asked if she would like to come back to The Hills, she replied, “I was like, ‘F—k no!'” on a 2018 episode of her Lady Lovin’ podcast. “I don’t want to be connected to any of those people. It is the separation from all those bums that I’m really hungry for.”
Lo changed her trajectory and is now living in NYC. She is an ICC graduate and author of The Lo-Down. In 2016, she opened Love Wellness – a women’s personal care brand. “My life now is so different that it was 10 years ago,” she said to E! News in 2020.
Lo shocked the public in March 2021 when she made her secret brain injury due to an accident two years ago known on Instagram.

Brody Jenner

Over the first season of The Hills, Brody was juggling (and probably breaking) the news with both Lauren and Kristin about his headline-producing love life, which was one of the reasons people were so interested with him even when he was not on camera but was doing DJing. (His 2015 E! series, Sex With Brody, was not really a factor in quieting the buzz.) What seemed like an eternal story—his 2018 Indonesian wedding with the then-Hills co-star Kaitlynn Carter—became a thing of the past when they got separated in 2019.
He eventually met the love of his life with pro surfer Tia Blanco, and the two are now parents to daughter Honey Jenner whom they brought into this world in 2023.

Audrina Patridge

She has become a pro of reality-TV after that. Partridge, the camera-ready neighbor of Lauren and Heidi, made a short trip through the Dancing With the Stars ballroom in 2010, fronted her own VH1 series Audrina, and took a turn hosting NBC’s travel show 1st Look. She was back on MTV with Speidi, Brody, and the gang, where she also got involved in the design of her swimwear label, Prey Swim. Moreover, she has had relationships after the breakup with BMX rider Corey Bohan—she has reignited an old flame with Ryan Cabrera and had an utterly unsuccessful dinner date with Justin Bobby Brescia—but her first priority now is daughter Kirra Max Bohan.

Whitney Port

Although not really, as she later clarified to Vogue, the girl who “did go to Paris,” made a brief visit to The City in 2008, but then went back to LA. Alongside her fiancé Tim Rosenman, an associate producer on her NYC spinoff, she made the exit. Judging cycle eight of Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model was just one of her recent activities. After that, she has been dividing her time between her Love, Whit line, collaborations with Rent the Runway, and her With Whit podcast, plus she has also rejoined The Hills and is looking after her son Sonny Sanford Rosenman.

Stephen Colletti

Aside from fueling our LC-Kristin-Stephen love triangle fan-fiction, the Laguna Beach hottie has been on a roll with his acting career. He has been five seasons a recurring character on the CW’s One Tree Hill, convinced Taylor Swift to fall for him in the ”White Horse” music video, and has even been an MTV VJ on the original Total Request Live.
With the help of OTH cast member James Lafferty, he started the Hulu series Every One Is Doing Great in January 2021—then, two years later, he went on a nostalgic trip with Kristin Cavallari for the Back to the Beach rewatch podcast.

Jessica Smith

Jessica used to be a good friend of KCav in Laguna Beach. She was in MTV for a short period but then decided to stay away from reality TV. The incident of her 2007 DUI arrest briefly brought her back to the spotlight, but since then, she has been living a very calm and peaceful life with her husband Michael Evans and their four children in Texas. On Instagram, she referred to her husband as “the most kind, patient, strong, amazing, loving and ridiculously handsome human I’ve ever met.” She runs a blog and a little store on Amazon. However, most of the time, as she humorously states on Insta, she is “just trying not to lose a kid.”

Jason Wahler

After different incidents like drugs, DUIs, fights, and arrests, Jason Wahler, the Laguna Beach and The Hills’ resident bad boy, went downhill one after another. He didn’t flip the script until Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew Pinsky when he got his life back. Jason tied the knot with Ashley Slack after that, a relationship he has termed as his first relationship with sobriety, and they have two lovely kids together—delilah came into the world in 2017 when he and “the most beautiful, loving, kind, and caring woman I know” became parents and Wyatt was born in 2021.
Now he is the founder and owner of Widespread Recovery and remains very open about his story, and he does this on The Hills: New Beginnings and also through his YouTube series, JAWS Diaries with Jason & Ashley Wahler.

Stephanie Pratt

The first person to be cast as Lauren’s opposite, she eventually became LC’s friend, which, as we know, was the start of the “never-ending” drama with her brother Spencer. In short, Stephanie moved to the UK where she was on Celebrity Big Brother and Made in Chelsea for multiple years, released a deeply personal memoir in 2015 recounting her eating disorder, drug addiction, and legal issues, returned to The Hills, and ranted on. After a very angry assault on her co-stars (calling sister-in-law Heidi “evil” and Audrina “wild”), Stephanie proceeded to declare that she would not come back for the second season.

Casey Reinhardt

Though not one of the first OC girls to appear on Laguna Beach, she still managed to make a unique appearance that it almost impossible to forget. The following years have been a treat for Casey as she turned her passion into a great professional career, starting with Casey’s Cupcakes in Orange County and being the winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars in 2011. Her personal life is no less fantastic: she got married to Sean Brown (a nephew of the late Nicole Brown Simpson) in August 2015; now the mother of daughter Kensington Kelly Brown, and son Sean Brown Jr.

Dieter Schmitz

Dieter Schmitz, one of Lauren and Stephen’s closest friends for a very long time, decided to leave Miami Beach to New York where he worked in hospitality and hotel management. By 2019 he was already in Washington, D.C., as part of the Lore Group where he became a general manager. He sees his high school friends quite often, keeps in touch with Lauren, “proud groomsman” Stephen, Trey Phillips, and Loren Polster were all present at his wedding in Monterey, Calif., 2016. His wife and he had their first baby boy, Nico Josef Schmitz, last September, 2018.
