Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan Navigate Son Jack’s Senior Year

As son Jack, 18, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan, is getting ready to graduate from high school, Tom Brady is gearing up to start a new parenting chapter.
On the Oct. 6 episode of Kristin Davis’ podcast Are You a Charlotte?, the Blue Bloods actor revealed, “I have a kid who is about to graduate from high school.” He went on to say that he was “just leaning into that” when asked about his decision to step away from work to be present for this important occasion.

Jack’s Next Move: Maybe Maize and Blue

If we are to consider Jack’s plan, I think Tom would be quite happy if it had something to do with his University of Michigan. “He got game 100 percent,” the ex-quarterback wrote in a July video of Jack playing on the court. “Future Wolverine @UMichBBall.”
Jack is always with Tom in spirit—no matter where he goes. The seven-time Super Bowl winner, a while ago, posted on Instagram a picture of a necklace commemorating Jack, twin sons Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, from his union with Gisele Bündchen. On Oct. 3, as he had indicated, the children were “Forever in my heart.”

Still One Team: Brady, Bündchen and Moynahan on Co-Parenting

According to Tom Brady, the co-parenting playbook with Gisele Bündchen and Bridget Moynahan is going to stay the same. He explained to Entertainment Tonight in 2023, “When you make the decision to have kids, it’s a pretty big deal.” Less than a year after his and Gisele’s split, he continued, “You want to give them values… a really strong base and foundation. I think me and their mom have done a great job of providing that and we are just going to continue doing it.”

Learning as They Go

Life might throw some errors at them but the family always reboots and carries on. “We’re not perfection incarnate,” Brady thought. “The children are not fully developed human beings either. In the final analysis, we are learning with them. His favorite teammates and off-field people are his children. Brady has Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan (they broke up in 2006 after almost three years of relationship) and Benjamin and Vivian with Gisele Bündchen (the couple separated in 2022 after 13 years of marriage).
“Time with my children is really nice for me,” he said to E! News in 2023. “They give me so much life… delight, vigor, passion, and growth. You witness their development in various aspects, and I only wish that I could be the one helping them.”

The Blues actress, who has been experiencing her own differently scandal, was not at all the 2007 media circus thrown at her when the announcement of her pregnancy with Tom Brady’s baby came out just a few months after their breakup and as he got together with Gisele Bündchen. On Jack’s 16th birthday in 2023, Tom stated, “You changed our lives from the day you were born and every day since has been such a blessing for all the people who know you and the ones who are fortunate to have you in their life.”
Gisele, who refers to Jack as her “bonus child” with a lot of love, has revealed that they had to rethink their plans for having more children after the birth of Jack.

Jack’s Impact and His Own Path

“I feel that Jack was the one who impulsed Tom and me to mature in so many aspects,” Gisele mentioned in her book, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, published in 2018. “We thought it was only natural for Jack to have peers… Having Jack around definitely made us rethink our priorities.”
Just like his dad, he was sporty but more of a basketball and lacrosse guy- Jack is being allowed to decide his own way. “He is kind of like a regular child who is still unsure about his career path and I think that’s totally fine,” Bridget shared during her interview with Live With Kelly and Mark in 2023. “I would never want to put the pressure on him to follow my path or his father’s.”

Gisele Bündchen

Gisele and Tom tied the knot in February 2009 after a blind date in December 2006. In the same year, they had a son named Benjamin and in 2012, a daughter named Vivian.
After conquering the catwalk, Gisele moved away from the spotlight to focus on her family. “They were my everything,” she said to Vanity Fair in 2023. “I nursed my children until they were almost 2… took them to school every day… made them breakfast, lunch… I was there.”
However, they separated in October 2022 and she declined the storyline that his short 2022 unretirement was the reason for the separation. “It’s not so black and white,” she stated, implying that they’d become distant.
Following the breakup, Gisele started seeing the family jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente and the couple had their first child in February 2025.

Benjamin

The son of Tom and Gisele, Benjamin “Benny” Rein Brady was born in December 2009.
On February 16, 2024, Tom congratulated his son with a sweet note saying, “I’m so proud of the young man you are. You’re a student, artist, athlete, musician, and teammate… but most of all, the best brother and son. You pour so much into everything you do, and it inspires everyone around you.”
Just like his dad, Benny has also fallen in love with football. “I’ve been throwing the ball to him in the backyard. He’s gonna be a little beast,” Tom shared on a 2023 episode of Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. “He’s an amazing kid—really talented musician and artist. And then he told me this year, ‘Dad, I’m playing football.’”

The date of birth of Vivian Lake Brady is the 12th of December, 2012 and she will always be her dad’s “forever baby girl.”
“The proudest dads’ moment is when he gets to see you grow and grasp your dreams,” On your 12th birthday, Tom wrote, 2024. “Your love, empathy, and happiness are like a beam for every place and keep the old man, who is your daddy, always in his smiling mood. You are my light!”
Gisele and the kids look very much alike—Vivi can even be used to unlock her mom’s phone with Face ID, according to Vanity Fair. One can see the two of them horseback riding and doing yoga by just a glance at the Nourish author’s Instagram.
“In every aspect, I am so proud of you,” Gisele expressed, 2023. “Thank you for bringing so much light to my life! I love you very much.”

Joaquim Valente

Initially, Gisele asserted that her association with jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente was of no romantic nature. “Since I’m a divorcee, I’m pretty sure the press will try to create links between me and someone else,” she said to Vanity Fair in 2023, and then went on to say good things about Joaquim and his siblings: “I’m so rich with all three of them… they have been the support for me and my children… Joaquim specially. He’s our teacher and, above all, the one whom I admire and trust.”
Once a friendship had been established, the bond with Joaquim deepened and eventually turned into something more than just a friendship.

A friendship to romance—Their own way

Gisele explained to The New York Times last March, though she didn’t disclose the names, “It is the first time I see a person who was a friend of mine first.” She finds it “very different. Very different in terms of honesty, and transparency.”
