Kit‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Harington Jokes About “Embarrassing” On-Set Moment With Sophie Turner in The Dreadful

The Stark family reunion won’t be awkward only on the small screen. Kit Harington is reuniting with his Game of Thrones sister Sophie Turner—but this time, they’re playing lovers in the upcoming Gothic horror film The Dreadful.
“She was the one that sent me that movie and somehow didn’t see what I saw in it,” Kit told E! News
in an exclusive interview. “I was like, ‘These guys, these are lovers, right?’ I felt very odd about that.”
Their romantic scenes didn’t just feel strange because of their long-established sibling dynamic. The 38-year-old actor admitted there was another layer to the awkwardness:
“It was a little bit embarrassing that we had to get on an apple box to kiss her as she is about a foot taller than me,” he laughed. “But apart from that, my dignity was pretty much ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌intact.”

Even though Kit Harington might have had to stand on an apple box to kiss Sophie Turner, he’s still thankful for the reunion they had onscreen.
The actor, who with his wife Rose Leslie is the proud parent of a 4-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter, said that working again with his ex-GOT co-star in The Dreadful was a highly memorable moment.
“It was a good opportunity to be with her again and collaborate,” he recalled. “What was lovely is that we got on set together and our friendship completely ignited again. It really did feel like being with family. It really did.”
Moreover, Sophie Turner, 29, is not the only new scene partner in Harington’s life as he is also the new addition to the cast of The Family Plan 2 with Mark ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Wahlberg.

On their first day, which also happened to be a fight scene, Kit was “quite daunted” and “Mark quickly helped me to relax,” he disclosed. “He couldn’t have been more helpful. He’s such a nice, nice person.”
In a joint interview with The Family Plan costar Michelle Monaghan, Mark, 54, was also full of praise for Kit whom he described as “amazing, ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌wonderful”.

The Family Plan 2 went international with the Morgans visiting London and Paris which made filming the sequel even more exciting for Kit Harington.
“Certainly, the story is taking us to different places with the new locations that we are in, ” he said. “Yes, the action is much bigger, but there is a complication and the relationship between the family which the fans will really like. After all, it is about ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌family.”
