Jinger Duggar Vuolo shared the news that she is able to relax now after her daughter, 7‑year‑old Felicity, had a scary ear incident while they were hosting a wedding at home. “At the end of the wedding, Felicity had been on the dance floor and she was dancing so hard,” Jinger mentioned to the audience during the Oct. 29 episode of The Jinger & Jeremy Podcast. “She comes inside and is in excruciating pain,” therefore an emergency‑room visit was necessary.

In an interview with “The Jinger & Jeremy Podcast” on October 29, Jinger shared how her daughter, Felicity, 7, had a scary ear issue while the family was hosting a wedding at their house. The lively child had been dancing at the party when she suddenly came in screaming in “excruciating pain,” Jinger narrated. In spite of her being “anti-medicine,” Jinger decided to give two ibuprofen to Felicity, upon which Jeremy said that he knew it was serious when she did. The duo, who are also parents to Evangeline, 4, and Finnegan, 7 months, took their daughter to the emergency room in a hurry and after the fright, they said that they were feeling a sense of relief.

After medicine didn’t help, Jinger searched the wedding for a doctor; Jeremy rushed 7‑year‑old Felicity to the hospital and she got better on the way
Jinger, after two ibuprofen not relieving the pain of her daughter, went back to the wedding in search of a doctor among the guests. Several times people informed her that the little girl’s eardrum “might have burst” and they strongly advised a visit to the emergency room. Therefore, Jeremy finally took their 7‑year‑old to the hospital.
They got a good mood reception as, on the way to the hospital, Felicity told Jeremy that she was “feeling better.” Her eyes, though, “bloodshot from crying,” she “wasn’t in active pain,” as he mentioned.

Parents rushed 7‑year‑old Felicity to the hospital after she screamed in “excruciating” ear pain at a wedding; she got better while they waited to be seen
After two ibuprofen didn’t help, Jinger went back to the reception looking for a doctor, and people advised her to take their daughter to the ER as her eardrum “may have burst.” So, Jeremy took 7‑year‑old Felicity to the hospital by car.
“While we were waiting in line for the ER, she said, ‘Dad, my ear popped and it feels better,’” Jeremy remembered. Felicity was still very insistent on getting checked, and at the time they were seen she was no longer in great pain but her eyes were “very red from crying.” Jinger shares that Felicity didn’t report any pain during the following three days after the visit.
