Leanne Quigley and Sophie Jones End 7-Year Relationship
The winner of the TV show “The Traitors,” Leanne Quigley, is reported to have parted ways with her fiancée, Sophie Jones, after seven years together. According to Leanne and Sophie, their future will now consist of raising two children.
Leanne first became familiar with fans as one of the successful couples who were crowned winners of season three of The Traitors, released in January 2025. Then in August the following year (2024), Sophie and Leanne said “I do” to each other. While on the show, Leanne presented herself as a fictitious person, a fake nail technician, and only later revealed that her true, long-time profession was as a British Army corporal for 12 years.
On Sunday, a spokesperson for the two revealed to The Sun that the separation was amicable: ‘We can confirm that Leanne and Sophie have split; their main focus is their two lovely boys. ‘Also, a source commented to the newspaper that ‘it is quite sad news, but the separation is not forced. They have drifted apart over time but will be there for their children together as they grow up.’
Leanne Planned Castle Wedding Following Sophie’s Cancer Ordeal
Sophie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024, only a few months after Leanne had finished shooting her BBC show. She recovered from the illness afterward.
After her victory at The Traitors, when Leanne went on a press briefing with the Daily Mail, she disclosed that she had checked out the location where the show was filmed—Ardross Castle in the Highlands—as a potential site for her wedding.
“We have time for planning the wedding, you know. Just started, as a matter of fact. We can pick a date and have the ceremony. It’s not a big rush.”
She stated. “In honesty, the reason why I searched for that castle was that previously, you couldn’t get married there if you weren’t invited to a royal ceremony or so. But actually, it’s not a problem. If we were to get married there, it would be so amazing to have our ceremony in an ancient castle, which is just what I am hoping for. If a couple wants to find the perfect place for their marriage, they can definitely take the Great Hall at Ardross Castle; it has the capacity to host 130 guests.
Following Sophie’s recovery from battling breast cancer, which was very difficult for the family over the 6 months, it came as a very sweet victory for Leanne when she won Traitors after such a tough road.

During an interview with Metro last year, Leanne was very candid when she talked about what happened and said: ‘If my daughter Soph had cancer, then of course, I would have never ever left to film. The thing is, we got to know about it a few weeks after I got home. “In fact, she noticed a lump a week or so later that turned out quite fast.”
‘Only just a few months ago, in October, to be precise, have I been out of the army, and still very much freshly out if I mention it again.’
‘With the twins in the beginning, then my partner, so first things first: we’re going to take a bit of a step back from all the busyness to really immerse ourselves in family time.’
Leanne has not yet revealed publicly via her social media accounts the decision to part ways; besides that, for the past few months, Leanne has been posting only her pictures on Instagram with no mention of Sophie. Sophie, who is Leanne’s girlfriend as well as partner and cohabitant in their household, had their engagement to get married in August 2024, and Leanne made the move by popping the question. Then Leanne shared her diamond ring. Leanne wrote, ‘Mrs. Jones pending,’ and put a diamond ring emoji.
