LeAnn Rimes Cancels Concerts After Being Diagnosed With Severe Laryngitis

LeAnn Rimes has had to pull out of a number of shows she had lined up after coming down with severe laryngitis. The 43-year-old artist took to her Instagram Story on Friday to inform fans that it was a recent encounter with COVID that had resulted in the condition.

“Following a diagnosis of covid which resulted in severe laryngitis, I really hate to have to reschedule next week’s shows, ” she wrote.

Rimes stated that a doctor had looked at her vocal cords and told her that she was down with severe laryngitis, which made her want to get the message to the fans right away.

Due to her severe laryngitis diagnosis, LeAnn Rimes has postponed her upcoming concerts in Illinois and Ohio, which have been reprogrammed to November.

The Waukegan, Illinois, and Wilmington, Ohio, concerts will be held on November 6 and 7, respectively. Tickets that have already been purchased will be valid for the new dates. In case you cannot make it, the refunds are also available.

“Having to make the decision to delay these shows really is a heartbreaking thing for me, ” Rimes explained. “Honestly, I cannot think of a better place for me to be next week than with all of you, celebrating. Unfortunately, this is very much a situation beyond my hands until I can get this sorted out.”

In the end, she informed her followers and fans that she is eagerly expecting meeting with them again shortly.

LeAnn Bimes Cancels More Shows as Health-Related Problems Delay Tour

More shows have been postponed by LeAnn Rimes as her health problems still cause her to reschedule the tour. The singer has just canceled her April 30 and May 1 shows in Spokane, Washington, and Seattle.

Rimes explained on Instagram the reason for her not traveling and performing was that she was sick. “I can’t travel & perform this week due to severe illness, ” she wrote.

She was also very upset about the canceling and she told her fans that she was “really heartbroken” and extremely thankful for their loving and continuous support during her recuperation.

Just a week before announcing her latest cancellations, LeAnn Rimes appeared to be in brighter spirits while celebrating her 15th wedding anniversary with husband Eddie Cibrian in Mexico.

The “Blue” singer shared highlights from the couple’s getaway, marking 15 years since they tied the knot on April 22, 2011. She also posted a heartfelt anniversary tribute to Cibrian, offering a lighthearted glimpse into some of the health struggles she has faced this year.

“15 years of loving you. 15 years of making memories. Your love is such a gift,” Rimes wrote, before joking, “with all that’s taken place this year, I have new vows… in perimenopause and in health, with teeth and without…”

Though she hinted at personal health issues in the message, she did not elaborate at the time.
