LeAnn Rimes Cancels Concerts Due To Severe Laryngitis
LeAnn Rimes has had to cancel a few concerts that she was going to perform as she got diagnosed with severe laryngitis. The 43-year-old singer on Instagram story revealed that the terrible condition of her laryngitis was just a result of a recent covid infection.
“Contracting Covid resulted in a slump of my voice due to severe laryngitis; thus, I really dread having to postpone my shows next week, ” she expressed.
So the doctor told Rimes her throat was badly inflamed – turns out it was laryngitis. Rimes said she felt bad that fans only found out about her throat issue after the show was over. She said looking back, she probably should’ve just told everyone right away instead of holding out for the “perfect time.”

The country singer was so sick with laryngitis that she had to call off two of her shows, in Illinois and Ohio. Both concerts have been rescheduled to late November (Waukegan on Nov 6 and Wilmington on Nov 7).

“Having to decide to delay these shows really is a heartbreaking thing for me, ” Rimes explained. Honestly, if I think of next week, the only thing that I can clearly envision myself doing is being with you guys and enjoying our time. However, as this issue has spiraled so far beyond my control, I suppose I should address it first.
In the end, she confided to her followers and fans that she cannot wait to see them again very soon.
LeAnn Bimes Has to Cancel More Concerts as Health-Related Issues Slow Down Her Tour
More shows have been postponed by LeAnn Rimes as her health problems still cause her to reschedule the tour. The singer recently called off her two shows, April 30 and May 1, in Spokane, Washington, and Seattle.
Rimes explained on Instagram the reason for her not traveling and performing was that she was sick. “I can’t travel & perform this week due to severe illness, ” she wrote.
She got really upset about the canceling part and shared with her fans that she was “really heartbroken”. Also, she extremely appreciated their loving and continuous support while she was getting better.

LeAnn Rimes was seen in a better mood, celebrating with her husband, Eddie Cibrian, their 15 years of marriage in Mexico, only one week before she announced more of her cancellations.
Rimes, the singer of “Blue, ” reminisced about the couple’s anniversary getaway by sharing photos of the event. They have been married for 15 years on April 22, 2011. She also dedicated a loving note to Cibrian for their anniversary and humorously showed some of the health ups and downs she has experienced during this year.
“15 years of loving you. 15 years of making memories. Your love is such a gift,” Rimes wrote, before joking, “with all that’s taken place this year, I have new vows… in perimenopause and in health, with teeth and without…”
Though she hinted at personal health issues in the message, she did not elaborate at the time.
