Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, who filed for divorce from her spouse Ryan Anderson, is now talking openly about her romantic life. Blanchard, who is 32 years old, discussed Anderson, who is 37 years old, in a question-and-answer session on her YouTube channel. As stated in the video that she uploaded on Thursday, June 27, the Munchausen by proxy victim revealed that she was acting by her heart when she filed for divorce from Anderson.
On March 28, around three months after her early release from jail, Blanchard announced that she was divorcing her spouse. After her breakup, she was seen spending time with her ex-boyfriend Ken Urker in the days that followed. Next, on April 11th, she submitted a petition to the court for a temporary restraining order against Anderson.
The first part of Blanchard’s question and answer session consisted of her being questioned about the first thing she did that assisted her in gaining her freedom and made her feel the happiest within. She started by saying, “I know it’s going to sound like a really cheesy answer, but the truth is that when I divorced Ryan and filed for divorce, I followed my heart to true love.”
It seemed to me that I had made that decision. I was a free lady. It was a decision that I made as a self-sufficient woman,” she concluded. “And I believe that everyone should follow their heart if they are aware of what they want out of life and they are aware of what would bring them happiness. Regardless of the circumstances, I am of the firm belief that you should go for it.
Blanchard continued by saying, “Life is far too short to stay depressed or to feel confined by anything that is in your life.” She said that she was in a marriage that she “wasn’t happy with,” stating that she was aware that her “heart was elsewhere,” and she made the decision to “follow that.”
“I’m happy,” she continued later. “I am filled with joy. To tell you the truth, I have never at any point in my whole life been happier than I am right now. “And I have no shame in admitting that.”
At the Chillicothe Correctional Centre in Missouri, where Blanchard was serving a term of ten years in jail, Aderson and Blanchard fell in love with one another. Claudine “DeeDee” Blanchard, 48, was murdered in 2015, and she was found guilty of second-degree murder for her involvement in the scheme. Her then-boyfriend Nicholas “Nick” Godejohn, who was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in 2019, was also a participant in the plot.
A romantic connection between Blanchard and Anderson developed during Blanchard’s time behind bars. They first met in June of 2021, and a little more than a year later, in July of 2022, they tied the knot in a secret ceremony held inside a jailhouse. The next year, in December of 2023, Blanchard was on parole and freed from jail.
Afterward, Blanchard announced that she had ended her relationship with the Louisiana special education teacher in a statement that we were able to receive from her personal Facebook account.
