Gaming Influencer Alex Cimo Dies at 32, He Shared on Social Media That He “Refused to Accept My Fate” After Cancer Diagnosis Last Month.

Gaming Creator Alex Cimo Dies at 32 After Stage 4 Colon Cancer Battle

Gaming content creator Alex Cimo has died at the age of 32 after living with stage 4 colon cancer for more than a year.

Something strange happened. A message appeared online, and then it was gone just like that. That note, posted to LinkedIn, carried the first word about what happened. His partner, Bryttni, later pointed to it when she spoke up. Come Friday the fifth, she stepped forward herself. Through a post on X, grief still fresh in every line, she revealed he had passed days before, without warning. She admitted holding back at first, needing time, her heart too tender to face the world’s eyes.
“I was not aware that the LinkedIn post was going to be made. I had a plan to update everyone in a couple of weeks in accordance with Alex’s wishes once my pain felt a bit more dulled,” wrote Bryttni.

Alex is remembered for Openness About Health Journey and gaming community impact.

Alex was always very open about his health with all of you, and I want to keep doing that and answer some questions you may have, she said. I really appreciate all the love for Alex. I know that he touched the lives of many of you.”
Cimo told his 383,000 YouTube followers about his cancer in March 2025. Through the next twelve months, he posted regular health news alongside videos talking through Yu-Gi-Oh! card strategies. Before doctors found the tumor in his colon, he had already discussed living with ulcerative colitis. Money went toward groups supporting people with long-term digestive conditions because he helped organize donations.

Alex Cimo Reflected on Health Battle, Said He Had Defied Doctors’ Prognosis

On May 1 he marked his birthday by posting a lot on X. He began by sharing that top cancer doctors in the US had told him back in March that he only had days left.

He said, “I fought really hard.” I fought harder than I ever had to fight for anything in my life.”

Six weeks after the doctors thought he would die, he proved the doctors wrong. This happened even though it seemed like it was impossible for him to get better. He wrote this last month: “Getting better takes time, but I feel a little stronger each day when I am fighting for my life, and I am getting better.” He also added that cancer doctors in the US are the best. He kept fighting for his life.
