Hayden Panettiere Cancels Appearance At The Last Minute Because Of A Family Crisis

Hayden Panettiere Cancels Convention Appearance Due to Emergency

Hayden Panettiere cancelled her appearance for Creep I.E. Con at the last minute.
‍‌‍‍‌Organizers of a fan convention, which starts on July 11 and 12, posted the information via their Instagram page on Friday. They confirmed to the fans who bought tickets that there is a big chance of “a Scream” star, 36, appearing back at our events.
“We understand Hayden has an unexpected situation and won’t be with us this weekend.” We hope to see her at the next event,” read the note. Dominique Swain, an actress best known for her role in “Lolita,” is going to be Panettiere’s replacement for the two days.
On the other hand, the artist’s representative told Page Six that Hayden “cancelled her events as a result of personal family circumstances which involves the wellness of a senior family member.”
Besides Hayden, Nicolas Tortorella, who was also Hayden’s co-star in “Scream 4,” was expected to join her as part of the ‍‌‍‍‌”reunion.”

Hayden Panettiere Pulls Out of Fan Convention

Besides these stars, such actors and actresses as Christopher Lloyd, Mira Sorvino, Tara Reid, Billy Zane, and Jamie Campbell are also going to participate in the event this weekend.
Meanwhile, Panettiere joins the list of celebrities who have cancelled their plans to attend the convention. Other notable names include Tori Spelling, who also starred in the ‘Scream’ series, making her another scream queen.

Additionally, Christina Ricci, John Carroll Lynch, and Carel Struycken have rescheduled their appearances to another date.
Prior to becoming a recognizable face on the horror movie circuit, Panettiere had appeared in several commercials as a child star. Then, she was cast as a lead in the daytime soap opera “One Life to Live” in 1994, and she played in “Guiding Light” in 1996.

Hayden Reflects on Child Star Struggles

In May, this actress described her experiences as a child star.
“I had my first identity crisis,” said Panettiere at the West Hollywood, California, conference. “It was in the old home of mine that the event happened. I must have been 12 at that time and was upstairs in my room.”The saddest thing was that I remember exactly where I was,” she added dramatically. “It felt like the brashest room in the world. This is the worst experience, like looking in the mirror and a row of judges are looking back at you.”
