Emilie Kiser is not hiding her feelings. The TikTok influencer, in an emotional outburst, revealed the intricate feelings she is steering, five months after she and husband Brady Kiser’s son, Trigg, drowned in an accidental drowning at their family pool. Learning to sit with each feeling — even joy — amid overwhelming grief
While the 26-year-old, who is also the mother of a 6-month-old son Theodore, with husband Brady, admits that it has been extremely tough for her to let go and grieve, she also mentions that the most difficult part of it has been to allow herself to feel positive emotions. “One of the hardest parts of loss, aside from the loss itself, is to let yourself be happy again,” she said. “Letting yourself be without an emotion about every emotion. Just having that emotion – whether it’s sad, happy, angry, guilty, shame, hurt – and really feeling it and being okay with ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌it.”
