2020 AEW Awards: The Best of the Best

Best of AEW 2020

Recently on the Talk AEW podcast, we handed out our 2020 awards for AEW, listing everything from the best matches of the year to the best factions, wrestlers, promos, pay-per-view events, and so on. What follows are my picks for each award we handed out.

For those who don’t know me, I’ve written extensively about my love for AEW throughout the year and I even launched my own podcast dedicated to discussing what is by far, my favourite wrestling promotion. I consider myself a huge fan of AEW and I am someone who has watched every episode of Dynamite and Dark, not to mention every AEW pay-per-view event since the company launched in 2019.

Since I’ve written so much about AEW and since I’ve also discussed the wrestling promotion on my podcast, I decided to make this a simple post consisting of images representing each of my picks for every award we handed out this year. For more on why I chose these winners, I highly recommend listening to the recent episode of Talk AEW. And while you are here, I also recommend my article listing the best AEW matches of 2020.

Here’s hoping 2021 will be another big year for AEW. Enjoy!
