Netflix reveals their most-watched shows

As 2021 comes to an end, it is safe t say that it’s been a great year for television and we definitely have Netflix to thank for some of the best shows. Squid Game anyone?

Netflix seems unstoppable. In fact, the streaming service is so popular, Tech Jury recently reported that it had almost 208 million paying subscribers in quarter one of 2021 (1 January – 31 March), a total of 207.64 million to be exact.

That’s a lot of eyeballs eyeing their content. But have you ever wondered what are the most viewed shows on Netflix? Well, as the streaming service continues to release more and more original series, many of which go on to break all-time records in viewership worldwide, the company decided to finally release a list of the 20 most-watched seasons of Netflix TV shows of all time.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise the Squid Game and Briderton top the list but I was shocked to see several seasons of Money Heist appear, not to mention the first season of Dark Desire, a show I’ve never even heard of until now. Here are the 20 most streamed Netflix shows as of December 2021.
