Sydney Sweeney attributes her looks solely to her genes. The Euphoria actress told Variety (Oct. 27) that she has never had any form of plastic surgery or cosmetic treatments: “I’ve never done anything to myself. I’m scared to death of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age naturally.”
The young woman explains that she has not had any work done and remembers industry pressure to get Botox when she was 16.
On a Variety interview (Oct. 27) she strongly denied any cosmetic intervention: “I’ve never gotten anything done. I’m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age gracefully.”
The actor refuted social-media comparison photos, pointing out that most of them show her as a child: “I’m 12 in that photo… I’m 15 years older.”
Sweeney brought up the American Eagle ad controversy from this summer and remembered the early industry pressures, including being advised to get Botox at 16 and to “fix” her face. She thought about breast reduction when she was a teenager but decided not to get invasive changes.
In spite of the criticism, she will continue to age naturally, and she will not have cosmetic surgery, thus, she is going to keep her stance on avoiding needles and treatments. Today, she put her natural beauty, health, and confidence above any possible alterations.

As per the reports, to portray the boxer Christy Martin in the film Christy, Sweeney who is said to have gained about 30 pounds of muscle, met the public criticism with no protest. “I play a lot of very divisive characters, and I think a lot of people think they know me, but they don’t,” she commented. “So when people think, ‘Ah, she’s a sex symbol,’ or ‘She’s leaning into that,’ I’m like, ‘No – I just feel good, I’m doing it for myself and I feel strong.'”
She also said that she would be very glad if her choice serves as an example of confidence for other women: “I hope I can inspire other women to be confident and just flaunt what they’ve got and feel good, because you shouldn’t have to apologize or hide or cover up in any room.”

The White Lotus star also mentioned that she is not aware of all the Bond rumors but has always loved the franchise and is “excited and curious to see what they do with it.”
