Meghan’s attitude from the beginning Stassi had Stassi not only in the past but recently as well, as she mentioned some time ago during her podcast Stassi, which was also confirmed here.
She called out directly that Meghan had not given her one of these “As Ever” PR boxes, and that fact had made her really mad: “I have literally stood-by-her-in-the-cold-when-everyone-slammed-her,” Stassi said. “I’ve done-video-just-for-her, I’ve-commented-on-everything, my-PR-reach-even-called-me-about-it.”
She speculated that the Duke of Sussex might think Stassi is Trashing her NYC life. “In my opinion, she’s so stuck in the year 2017 and just assumes that I am some sort of lowly reality TV person,” Stassi stated.
Schroeder commented that this was the “last straw,” and she no longer intends to follow Meghan’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan.

Schroeder confirmed her move in a more emphatic way stating: “I will not talk about her anymore. I am going to unfollow her right now… Done,” she stated in her podcast.
The former Bravo star also expressed her anger at the people whom she thought received “As Ever” PR packages from Markle without her knowledge, referring to the hosts of the Toast podcast Claudia and Jackie Oshry. “When you’re sending PR boxes to people who talk s–t about you — Claudia and Jackie don’t talk s–t about her, but they literally, they’ve questioned her, and they also say, ‘I wonder what Stassi’s thinking about this.’”

From “Toxic Fan” to “Toxic Hater”

Stassi Schroeder has announced that her support to Meghan Markle will no longer be there. “’I wonder what Stassi thinks because Stassi is her biggest fan.’ Everyone f–king knows. Not anymore,” she said. “Toxic fans are the ones I felt like and I was one of them. I am no longer a toxic fan but a toxic hater.”
In her criticism of Markle, the reality star accused her of “paying attention to [her] haters” instead of focusing on her supporters, and alleged: “I think she’s trying to own the narrative by doing this. I think she’s the one in control.”

More Criticism — and Comparisons

Schroeder didn’t stop there, she also referred Meghan Markle as a “control freak” and even likened her to Blake Lively, though she didn’t explain the statement about the Gossip Girl alum.
No comments from representatives of Markle or Lively were given to Page Six at the time of writing.
The Sussex supporter has lost her fan base a few times — including with former best friend Jessica Mulroney, after reports of “mortification” of Mulroney’s 2020 remarks about “white privilege” causing Markle to be “mortified” led to a fallout between the two.

Back then, the media had it that Jessica Mulroney “distraught” got after losing TV gigs and felt that Meghan was unfair to her by not issuing a public statement in her support although she “was there for Meghan through thick and thin.”

Markle is now using the strategy of celebrity gifting to attract attention to her lifestyle brand which after the rebranding from American Riviera Orchard to “As Ever” stays as a restyled name. She is sending the jam she makes in her orchard to stars and trendsetters like Kris Jenner who are giving good visibility to the brand.
