A Proposal on the Hillside
Finneas confirmed the fact that he has been in a long time love relationship with Claudia Sulewski and that he intends to marry her.
The producer with a Grammy award to his name — whose work with sister Billie Eilish is known the most — went down on one knee after seven years of dating.
On Sept. 24, through a joint Instagram post, the pair revealed snapshots from the picturesque hilltop proposal, among which there was also their happy selfie. While covering a laugh with her hand, Claudia gave fans an unobstructed view of her new diamond ring with a cushion-cut.
“Forever and Ever 9.22”
The couple also showed a short video of the beautiful helicopter ride they took to the place Finneas proposed and a clip of Finneas going down on one knee.
In her caption, Claudia 29, verified the timing writing ‘forever and ever 9.22,’ she also mentioned that the proposal was only two days before they made the announcement.
The date is even more significant: the day before, Finneas, 28, shared a post to celebrate their anniversary and looked back at their relationship milestones.
A Love Letter in Advance
Finneas was very regular in his expressions of his love to Claudia. In one instance, he made a loving Instagram tribute in September 2022, where he stated:
“Firstly, you would have to search the entire world from one end to the other just to find one single person that is just as talented, creative, and hard-working as you, my love. After that, you would have to do it all over again just to find someone as kind, thoughtful and generous.”
He continued: “Then a fourth time to find someone as humorous, a fifth to find someone as affectionate, a sixth to find someone as lovely. The way you do each of these things at the same time, will be your eternity never the impossibility.”
This is a love letter that made it to Claudia’s heart. She replied, “Your promises will kill me.”
