Floyd Roger Myers Jr., who was a child actor in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Jacksons: An American Dream, has passed away at the age of 42. His mother, Renee Trice, informed TMZ that he was taken ill with a heart attack at his home in Maryland at about 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and that she had spoken to him just a few hours before his death. Trice also mentioned that Myers had three heart attacks in the last three years. ​‍​

Floyd Roger Myers Jr. was the young Will Smith in a 1992 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and the young Marlon Jackson in the TV movie The Jacksons: An American Dream. He died of a heart attack at his home in Maryland early on Oct. 29. His mother, Renee Trice, told TMZ that he was 42. She also said that she had talked to him just a few hours before his death and that he had experienced three heart attacks over the last three years.
Myers also has a credit for the TV show Young Americans on The WB in 2000. Off the screen, he was a father of four and a co-founder of The Fellaship Mens Group, an organization that, according to its Instagram, promotes men’s leadership, healing, and well-being. His sister Tyree Trice has started a GoFundMe to raise money for the funeral ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌expenses.

Upon the tragic event, Renee Trice in a Facebook statement which accompanied the photo, of her late son’s, Floyd Roger Myers Jr. with his four children, shared by her wrote: “This is not suppose to be so.” TMZ reports that Myers – a household name for his portrayal of the young Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and of the young Marlon Jackson in The Jacksons: An American Dream – passed away from a heart attack at his home in Maryland on Oct. 29. He was 42.
His sister Tyree raising money via GoFundMe, describes Myers as “a devoted father, loving brother, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and warmth were able to touch everyone he met,” and also writes that he is the father of Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler, and Knox. Moreover, Myers was also a co-founder of the Fellaship Mens Group, a group focusing on the empowerment of men. The family’s GoFundMe carries the information about the funeral fund and there are no details about the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌service.
