Chris​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Pratt Shares Warm Embrace With Ex-Wife Anna Faris At Rare Thanksgiving ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌Outing

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, who were married from 2009 to 2017, shared a friendly hug as the Scary Movie star dropped off their son Jack, 13, to join his dad in feeding the Unsheltered in Los Angeles on Nov. 27. Anna, 49, was very simple and went for an all-black ensemble — hoodie, pants and a hat — and had a brief chat with her ex during the Thanksgiving outing. Chris, 46, was in a white T-shirt and jeans, and a black ball cap completed his look. Chris’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, was also there for the mission; the 35-year-old, who is the mother of Lyla, 5, Eloise, 3, and Ford, 12 months, and shares them with Pratt, seemed to be talking with him and Jack while they were getting ready to serve the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌needy.

It has been a consistent theme for Chris Pratt and Anna Faris after their separation in 2017, to talk well of each other and keep their attention on their son. “Divorce sucks,” Pratt admitted to Entertainment Weekly in 2018. “However, we have a wonderful child who is very lucky to have two parents that love him a lot, and that is what counts. So we are figuring out this thing in such a way that we can still be friends and still be nice to each ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌other.”

Anna Faris revealed that she and Chris Pratt are very intentional in not holding grudges and focusing on moving forward, which they do for their son’s sake only. “Grudge holding is definitely not something that Chris and I are guilty of,” she said to the Divorce Sucks With Laura Wasser podcast in 2019, elaborating that they wanted Jack to be a happy kid while at the same time being supportive of each other and even jokingly saying that they might spend holidays or vacations together. In 2022, after tying the knot with cinematographer Michael Barrett, Faris commended Katherine Schwarzenegger’s influence in Jack’s life, referring to her as “awesome” and saying, “I love how she is with ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌Jack.”
