There have been various reports citing the couple’s busy schedules as the reason for their split; however, a source close to Bill Hader and Ali Wong told the Daily Mail that, in fact, their breakup was inevitable.
“He was already on the outs with Ali,” the insider revealed, explaining that the couple had barely been seeing each other for several months.
The source also referred to their different personalities as one of the main reasons for their breakup and described Wong as “a super sweet girl, very normal, very fun and easy-going,” whereas he said Hader “is not.”

It was publicly known on January 7 that Hader and Wong, Beef actress, had finally decided on breaking up after their turbulent relationship that lasted for three years.
People revealed that the former couple “are concentrating on their careers and children while still being there for each other and cheering each other on.” The source underlined that it was “a very amicable” split and that they are still friends and keep in touch.
The last time the two were spotted together was in late November when Wong was snapped giving Hader a very emotional goodbye.
Bill Hader Finds Himself Dealing with Personal Troubles Following a Family Tragedy
Bill Hader has been under a lot of pressure lately after the unfortunate deaths of director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. Their son, Nick Reiner, 32, is the one accused of brutally stabbing his parents to death.
It was on Dec. 14 that their daughter, Romy, discovered the bodies of her parents in their home. Later that night, Nick was taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
There are reports that the parents had actually brought their son Nick to a party at Conan O’Brien’s house so that they could keep an eye on him as he was getting used to new medication for schizophrenia. According to NBC News, at the party, Nick supposedly got upset after Hader confronted him for interrupting a private conversation, which led to Nick storming off.
Moreover, Nick and his father were said to have a very loud argument during the party. Though some tried to call 911, it is said that O’Brien refused to allow them to make the calls.

Nick Reiner remains in jail after two of his arraignments were postponed, with the next date being Feb. 23. Its a day when the charges against him will be formally read. The attorney, Alan Jackson, who was previously representing Nick, has just pulled out of the case, indicating that he was forced to retire as Nick’s lawyer.
It is anticipated that Nick Reiner will enter a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.
