Who Is Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Ex-Fiancé Ken Urker? Revisiting Her Previous Relationship!

Ken Urker became well-known to the general public as the former fiancé of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was found guilty of the murder of her mother and sentenced to ten years in jail during her conviction. Even though their long-term romance and engagement in 2018 garnered a lot of attention, they eventually broke up their engagement and went their separate ways.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and ex-fiancé Ryan Urker unveil their matching husky dog tattoos

After news circulated that Urker and Blanchard had gotten matching tattoos, there was a recent discussion regarding the possibility of a reunion between the two of them. However, Raina Williams, Urker’s mother, confirmed that they are presently just friends.

There were suspicions that Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker had resumed their relationship when they were photographed together at a tattoo shop in April 2024. Both of them had identical tattoos portraying husky motifs, which sparked the allegations. Even though Blanchard’s life has been filled with adversity, including a secret marriage that took place while she was incarcerated in July 2022, followed by a speedy divorce following her release, her recent reunion with Urker indicates that she is intent on moving on with her life.

Raina Williams said in an interview that Urker first reached out to Blanchard to give compassion after seeing “Mommy Dead and Dearest.” This is even though their public appearance and matching tattoos feed rumors of a revived connection between the two of them. Williams underlined that both she and her son care about Blanchard and want to see good improvements in her life. Their relationship evolved to dating and engagement before it ended, but she said that she and her son want to see Blanchard’s life improve. Her clarification, on the other hand, was that Urker is now looking for a love connection and is supporting Blanchard in the capacity of a friend.

Ken Urker was born and reared in the state of Texas, and he completed his secondary education in Dallas before going on to acquire a degree from a college. There is very little information available regarding his profession, except documents that indicate repeated changes in residency after he graduated from college. These moves include stints in Florida, Washington, and California.

Ken Urker and Gypsy Rose Blanchard Tattoo Parlor

As Gypsy Rose Blanchard was leaving a tattoo business in Cut Off, Louisiana, she was seen leaving with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker. This occurred many months after she was released from jail. According to TMZ, the two individuals had tattoos of huskies as a matching set.

It was stated that she had separated from her spouse Ryan Anderson, whom she had married while she was incarcerated in 2022. This news comes after the breakup. In March, Blanchard announced that the pair would be going their separate ways. She also said that she had relocated to Louisiana to be with her family as she worked to get back on her feet after an unsuccessful relationship. It would seem that she has reestablished contact with Urker, whom she had a short romantic relationship with after meeting him via a pen pal program offered by the correctional facility. In the time leading up to her marriage to Anderson, she had been in a relationship with Urker, whom she had first met via a pen pal program offered by the jail.

Who is Gypsy Rose?

Gypsy-Rose Alcida Blanchard-Anderson, who was born on July 27, 1991, is a woman from the United States who was found guilty of second-degree murder in the state of Missouri for the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. She received a jail term of 10 years for her crime.

After serving eight years in prison, she was granted release at the end of December 2023. Gypsy’s upbringing was filled with extraordinary events, which led to her receiving a great deal of attention from the media. The Act (2019), a limited series that was created by Hulu and released while she was still incarcerated, was released.

In December of 2023, she was granted parole after having served eight years of the ten-year sentence that she had been given. Her life has been the subject of interviews on many different television series, and her tale has also been the inspiration for other programs.

Gypsy Rose’s Early Life

Gypsy Rose was born on July 27, 1991, to Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, who was 24 years old, and Rod Blanchard, who was 17 years old before becoming Blanchard. In the beginning, her mother started to declare that Gypsy-Rose had a variety of distinct health problems from the time she was an infant. She was informed by her mother that she suffered from muscular dystrophy and required the use of a walker. At approximately seven or eight years old, she was engaged in a small motorbike accident with her grandpa, in which she had a minor knee abrasion. The accident occurred while she was driving the motorcycle. Following the occurrence of this, Dee Dee informed her that she needed a wheelchair.

Gypsy Takes a Break from Social Media

Gypsy Rose deactivated her social media sites in the middle of March after she had amassed a significant number of followers on Instagram and TikTok after her release from jail. In the beginning, she was quite appreciative of the love she received from her supporters. However, when she sought to begin a new life after serving eight years of a ten-year sentence, she found that the spotlight became too bright and presented her with a great deal of difficulty.

Gypsy Rose had been convicted of crimes when she was in her early twenties. She had been an accomplice in the death of her mother, who had mistreated her for most of her life. Blanchard was now serving a term for the crimes she had committed. It was her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, who administered the pills that caused her to feel ill and weak. Additionally, she falsified her birth certificates in such a way that Gypsy Rose was considered to be a juvenile even when she was in her thirties. Since she was released from jail, Gypsy has been working to raise awareness about abuse and Munchausen by Proxy. She hopes that her experience will encourage others who are in circumstances similar to hers to pursue a different route and realize that there are tools available to protect them.
