Waka Flocka Flame Hints At Kanye West Album Dropping In December

Waka Flocka Flame’s Return to the Spotlight

Waka Flocka Flame appears to have been off the radar for a long time. After his last mixtape in year 2020, he has been missing from the music world. He has not been able to release a wide range of music since he released Flockaveli 2 in 2012. Just like his songs, Waka has pretty much completely disappeared from the general musical scenery. However recently Waka’s name made headlines on social media platforms, and fans were not surprised as it was quite boring news.

And fans were shocked once again when they learnt not just the fact that Waka Flocka Flame mentions Kanye West, but what he learns about Kanye West’s next album. Waka’s message was blunt and passionate. Waka posting such statements is a rarity nowadays as he is not spotted around any music industry gossip and drama. Nevertheless, he still managed to ignite the anticipation for one more release of Kanye West’s new project. The combination of those two facts made fans sit at the edge: excitement from Waka’s post as well as his message that was about the timeline for the album’s launch.

Simply stating, Waka began the conversation by saying “dude it’s time for another Ye album.” Even on its own, this could be taken as a rather innocuous statement that would hardly raise eyebrows. Nevertheless, the rapper did not stop at this and instead went ahead and made an even more audacious spirit that seemed to trigger a myriad of speculation across different social media platforms. His statement was quite bold, saying, “I wouldn’t be surprised, if my Gemini brother drop before the yr end.” This comment immediately had fans buzzing. The combination of Waka’s confidence and the vague but intriguing prediction seemed to hint that Kanye West’s album was imminent.

A Bold Prediction for the Year-End Release

Relating to the time when Waka posted the tweet, there was a lot of suspicion. Issued on December 2, leaving little room for Kanye to come forth with an album before the year end. Waka’s audacity made him the subject of speculation as fans attempted to discern the basis of his statements. How is it conceivable that the rapper seems to be well informed concerning any pending plans for the West or was it just a case of him hoping for the best? The statement made by Waka was such that one would expect the album to be out at any time and emotions were running wild awaiting an announcement when we would be able to hear them directly from Kanye or his team.

Waka Flocka Flame Hints At Kanye West Album Dropping In December

As much as Waka Flocka Flame’s ponder has caused many to draw red herrings, it is worth mentioning that there are plans for the release of a new album by Kanye West. The same West has been telling that the album in question is called Bully. Throughout 2024, the artist Kanye has been talking about that album with the audiences in a more revealing fashion and warming up their expectations with fragments of his work and visions.

Waka Flocka Flame’s tweet creates an impression where he made the release sound more certain if not guaranteed. With Kanye focusing on the Bully for most of the year, it is safe to assume that the album release will take place sooner than anticipated. Being a fellow Gemini, Waka stands out in the rap community not only as an artist but as someone in close personal relations with Kanye. It is possible that Waka does not tell the whole truth or he simply follows what most the fans wish: surprise album release before the end of the year.

Fans Eagerly Await Confirmation

Of course, Waka’s tweet does not promise anything, but both he and the fans seem to be looking forward to what Kanye will do next. It’s characteristic of fans of Kanye West to be so committed to him that they would jump at the slightest sight of something related to a new album. The Verve or the Vanilla Ice statement is one thing fans will be looking forward to. If Waka’s prediction does not come true, we all know Kanye’s next release will be one that will be keenly followed. And it does not look like the hype around it will lessen in the next days.

As we near the end of the year and with Waka’s dramatic guess still in our minds, one question still remains: Will Kanye West come through with Bully any time before December 31? At this point, there is no social media endorsement. The timeline of the narrating hasn’t been touched as well. It, however, can be said that Waka’s tweet has completely stirred up things and makes it much more difficult for the fans to just relax and be patient. The level of excitement for Kanye’s Bully Album has gone through the roof and Waka Flocka Flame’s tweet has made that sense of urgency much stronger. Although it is highly doubtful that West would follow through with this promise of releasing an album in December, the focus will clear concerning West and his next album.

VULTURES 3: The Final Chapter?

One of the most cherished recordings that have been discussed over the last couple of years is VULTURES 3. In particular, this album will round off the collaborative trilogy between Waka Flocka Flame and Ty Dolla Sign. The previous installments, however, didn’t exactly set the world on fire. Given that the first two records were not met with overwhelming antiquity, Waka Flocka Fans are concerned whether VULTURES 3 is ever really going to happen. Can it be the project that saves this series of albums or will it end at the same point as the earlier two? Perhaps one day. Nevertheless, the pre-release activities on VULTURES 3 have been relatively less as compared to Waka’s newer works or any other recent performances by him.

Though it is unknown what exactly VULTURES 3 will be like, considerable buzz has already developed over Kanye West’s follow up album Bully. Those who belong to West’s close group said Bully is a classic way of representing the rapper. After some controversial records that produced polarized reactions from the audience, the ghetto penguin’s fans have reasonable hope that Bully will restore the kind of emotional charge and ingenuity typical of Kanye’s earlier works. To this day, Waka Flocka himself has been turning up the heat by blaming West for bad marketing and getting people to overhype the album. The faith and the excitement of the rapper have kind of upped the stakes, but as we have seen with all the hype surrounding any album, the wait is what will show the reality of the album.

The Lack of a Waka and Kanye Collaboration

Waka Flocka Flame and Kanye West share a strong friendship and admiration for one another, yet the two have never, as of this writing, worked together. However, since both of these artists have achieved remarkable success and prominence in the hip hop and music in general, this fact is perplexing. Waka, however, has actually modified parts of Kanye’s music before. In particular, he came out with remixes of “Blood on the Leaves,” released in year ‘2013, and “Real Friends,” released in year ‘2016. These songs are some of the most important in Kanye’s discography, so it is understandable why they would be remixed. So even though these remixes are not fully collaborations, they are cognizant praise and respect to each partner’s work. Most probably someday we will witness an official collaboration. However, their musical relationship is more complicated than partnerships.

Waka Flocka Flame has also expressed support for Kanye West’s other pursuits, aside from music. One example is when Waka defended Kanye West when the latter came under fire for endorsing former President Donald Trump, an endorsement that unleashed a firestorm of controversy. In the midst of the criticism directed at Kanye due to his political beliefs, Waka Flocka Flame rapidly came out in defense of him. This support illustrates the closer relationship that exists between both musicians who have something in common, which is that they both seem to be anti-establishment. Waka’s support of Kanye even when it was unpopular in the media emphasizes the depth of their friendship and each other’s recognition.

Waka’s Own Political Persona

Here Comes Waka Flocka Flame in a G-man style, unfazed by rampant criticism, branding him a hypocrite, not caring about the consequences of financially supporting Donald Trump. His political involvement may have damaged the career prospects he may have otherwise had since he has openly discussed how the beliefs he holds about the world, which are quite different from most, are what lead him to be shunned by large swathes of the industry. In a November tweet which many would agree was incendiary at best, he stated: “People need to wake up… y’all being used for a bigger agenda.” This aggressive slogan is in response to the numerous challenges he has faced in recent times which led him to question many aspects of the establishment and these challenges have shaped Wakas persona over time.

Waka has had to pay a significant price for his public political opinions. He has witnessed show cancellations and missed opportunities in the industry because of his outspoken opinions in support of the Trump. This has given rise to a lot of speculation regarding the likely consequences of his outlook towards his profession. Waka has however weathered the storm and stands by his principles which include criticism of the system and all its constructs, a point he staunchly defends. Only time will tell whether this stance will have far-reaching ramifications in his professional growth. Nonetheless, Waka’s criticism does not make him any less of an exceptional figure within the industry as he still garners admiration for holding his ground in times of hardship.
