Bennett then joined the girls’ group G.R.L., and in 2014, they released their self-titled debut EP. Moreover, the group’s song “Wild Wild Love” was included in Pitbull’s track.
Furthermore, the girls’ group’s single “Ugly Heart” from their self-titled debut EP became their most popular single. Lauren Once Reflected on Simone Battle’s Death

“You can never prepare yourself for something like this, ever,” Bennett said at the time. “We were just in the rehearsal the day before, learning some choreography for the show. We were supposed to start getting up there the next day, as we normally would, and we got this call. It’s unreal, you know? I don’t think we really think it through. We should, but we don’t. It’s wild, you know, being able to talk about this now.”
Prior to her passing, the group recorded “Lighthouse” and posted a video with footage of Battle, from her early life to being in Paramore
“We learned a lot from her,” Bennett said. “You can see her passion for performing in it, and she’s just strumming along. That’s us saying that she’ll always be a part of this group. She will always be our lighthouse. We will always be her girls.”
