Kris Jenner doesn’t mind being straightforward when it comes to her health.
The Kardashians star explained her hysterectomy journey several years after doctors found a benign tumor in one of her ovaries. She actually considered the operation as “the best decision” she has ever made.
“I mean, I just didn’t want any kind of medical issue or thing that might be capable of attaching itself and growing back, ” Kris revealed on the May 5 episode of Dear Media’s SHE MD podcast, “so I just said, ‘Okay, let’s do it and take care of it.'”

Moreover, the 70-year-old revealed that she didn’t really “need” her uterus anymore as all her kids Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are all grown up, some of them even have children of their own.
She joked, “That was a good uterus.”
On the other hand, if Kris ever feels nostalgic for the organ, she can always watch it on video.
“I recorded your surgery for you, ” her doctor, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi, who also co-hosts the podcast with Mary Alice Haney, teasingly reminded Kris during the episode. “It’s 22 minutes skin-to-skin.”
Nonetheless, that operation was a bit of a bittersweet moment for Kris.

“It really got me quite emotional because when you’re young, you start to express your desire for a family, ” the mother of six revealed during 2024 episode of *The Kardashians* where the tumor diagnosis and its consequences were captured. “A family was literally our only topic of conversation for 40, 50 years. And now here we are talking about it again and it’s the other side of the process.”
That is because Kris sees motherhood as her real vocation.
“This is my life’s work, ” she declared on SHE MD. “It is my fate. My legacy. My everything. The very core of my being.”
Actually, the momager confessed that her “reason for being on this planet is to support” her children.
“I even think of them as my greatest happiness, ” Kris continued, “but at the same time, they are my greatest burden.”
