He started working as a caddy for professional golfer Lexi Thompson, and their cooperation was a success, with Thompson winning the 2017 Indy Women in Tech Championship. He worked with Thompson for the whole of the 2018 season, helping to her success.

Kevin McAlpine, a passionate golfer from Scotland, had a turning moment in his career when he suffered an injury that would have terminated his career.
