Kerry Katona is thinking about “Suspected Stroke” Aftereffects That Are Still Causing Her Problems

The performer’s daughter was the first to realize that something was wrong when they were at a show in London. Now Kerry Katona is sharing the information about the changing condition of her health since she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The 45-year-old artist was in London to see her eldest daughter Molly’s theater show when she got seriously ill. Her partner, Paolo Margaglione, and daughter Heidi were with her when Heidi realized that her mom’s face “didn’t look right, ” which resulted in a medical emergency during the show.

Doctors first thought the mom’s problem was a stroke and treated her accordingly. However, after thorough examination, the doctors found no traces of stroke and decided that the episode was probably caused by severe stress. Nevertheless, the mother of five is still dealing with the physical effects. In a chat with *New* magazine, Kerry told that she is still getting used to her speech and facial changes. “I know I’m talking differently and I know my face looks different after my suspected stroke but it’s actually loads better, ” she revealed, even though she is still very positive about her recovery progress.

She Opens up about the After Effects and Anxiety after a “Suspected Stroke” Emergency

Kerry Katona has revealed that the tough time she experienced recently when she was rushed to the hospital by an emergency ambulance still affects her emotionally and physically. The 45-year-old singer was attending a play in London with her eldest daughter, Molly, when she suddenly got very sick. Her partner, Paolo Margaglione, and daughter Heidi were the ones to support her when Heidi realized that her mother’s face “did’t seem right, ” and they decided to get medical help immediately while the play was still going on. Kerry described that it was when she was in the restroom that she saw her reflection and realized that something was wrong with her face. So, she went out to find the hotel staff to get help.

Initially, the hospital treated Kerry’s situation as a stroke. However, doctors later decided that it was stress that triggered the episode of weakness. Still, after all these, the mother of five children is trying to come to terms with her body and mind changes. In her *New* magazine column, Kerry revealed that she is still experiencing speech difficulties and looks of the changes in her face. However, she added that her face is “getting loads better” despite the fact that it “looks different.”

She did, however, disclose the fact that the incident had made her anxiety levels “through the roof.” Her symptoms are something that “come and go,” and her very serious health anxiety is making her recovery quite hard, because she often ends up panicking after seeing various comments online about her situation. “I’ve just got to try and not think about it, because I’m the worst hypochondriac in the world, ” she said. Kerry Katona also noted that at times she thinks her family must be “fed up” with her endless health worries.

Kerry Katona Remembers Being Rushed to Hospital as Doctors Feared Stroke

Kerry Katona opened up about the scary time she was rushed to hospital in an ambulance as doctors thought at first that she was having a stroke. The mum-of-five announced that she was urgently moved from one hospital to another as her condition deteriorated.

“When I arrived, they said, ‘We will treat this as a stroke, ‘ so they blue-lighted me in the ambulance from St Thomas’ Hospital to King’s College Hospital, ” Kerry said, remembering how medical staff kept a close eye on her as her face and speech started to get worse.

Looking back at how suddenly things got out of hand, she said: “I was watching our Molly in a play an hour ago, and now I’m being treated for a stroke. What the actual f**k? It just shows how quickly a person’s luck can change.”

She acknowledged feeling “really scared” and expecting the worst at the time. But after having a CT scan, the doctors said that she did not have a stroke and that the episode was rather due to “delayed stress, ” which she described as something that can occur when a person has finally “found peace.”

Kerry Katona opened up about a change of scene after her health scare and revealed that she flew with her family to Spain to celebrate her son Dylan-Jorge’s 12th birthday. Also, she mentioned that she was planning to have some follow-up treatment after her coming back to the UK.

The 5 children of the mum are: daughters Molly, 24, and Lilly-Sue, 23, whom she had with ex Brian McFadden; Heidi, 19, and Max, 17, with ex Mark Croft; and 12-year-old Dylan-Jorge, often referred to as DJ, was with her late husband George Kay.

Kerry shared that despite everything she has suffered, things have been getting better for her personally as well, especially after she fell in love with her new partner Paolo, who is 12 years younger than her. In a talk with The Sun, she called him “a complete one-off.”

“I’ve never known anyone quite like him, ” she explained. “It actually makes me anxious, because I keep thinking it’s just too good to be true. I get emotional talking about him, ” she added.

Kerry Admits To Finding True Love For The First Time With Partner Paolo

After many failed relationships, Kerry Katona finally believes that she has found true love in her boyfriend Paolo. The TV personality said that without a doubt, her meeting with him has been a complete turning point in her life after she wasn’t even thinking of starting a relationship.

“I can’t believe my luck that I found him. It’s such a wonderful feeling to be loved and desired. I have never experienced this before, ” she revealed.

“To be honest, I don’t think that I have ever really really been in proper love until I met Paolo. In fact, I think I was so starved of affection that I didn’t even realise it.”

Kerry revealed that at the time they met, love was not something she had in her plans as she had her mind set on something else. “In fact, I wasn’t even in the market for a boyfriend or getting married again, I couldn’t really imagine anything worse, ” she confessed.

“What I really wanted was a pay cheque, some publicity and a therapist from the show. Then I met him and I was like, ‘Wow, you’re different.'”
