Disney Legend Josh Gad, also a favourite voice of Olaf in Frozen, was forced to cancel his Disneyland Paris appearance at the last minute. Known mainly for his close collaboration with Disney—from Frozen to Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man and his YouTube series where he plays Cast Member roles—Gad was scheduled to visit the new World of Frozen attraction at the revamped Disney Adventure World facility.
Nonetheless, almost immediately after landing in Paris, Gad took to Instagram and broke the news that instead, he had to make a U-turn and go back home because his mother, who was involved in the medical emergency, is said to be very sick. Fans have been sending their love and prayers to Gad and his loved ones at this tough ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌time.

Josh Gad, who is the voice of Olaf in Frozen, lamented emotionally on his Instagram that due to the family emergency he had to cancel his visit to the new World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris.
“I’m really heartbroken since I came this week to simply experience and join the celebration of the new World of Frozen at @disneylandparis and now, unfortunately, I will have to leave tomorrow morning (I won’t even get a chance to see any of it) to be with my mother who is facing a serious medical emergency,” he said.
Supporters and admirers have come out to stand by Gad and his family through their time of crisis and expressed their hope for a recovery of his ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌mother.

Josh Gad has reached out to his fans to ask them to remember his family in their prayers as his mother is going through a very critical medical situation. Besides in his post on Instagram, he added, “So, please, in the meantime, keep my mom in your prayers. She really needs all the positive energy we can send her.”
Gad was in Paris to preview the new World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World leading to its March 29 opening. This new land, which will be Disney Parks’ second Frozen-themed area after Hong Kong Disneyland in 2023, will have a version of the original Frozen ride from Disney World’s Epcot, together with other attractions like a family coaster.
Although he was probably there for the park’s promotional events, he had to leave his trip unfinished to support his family during this hard time. Supporters of his have gathered to send their love and good ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌wishes.

Josh Gad, the voice behind Olaf in Frozen, was going to be one of the first persons to see the new creation from the Walt Disney Imagineering at the new World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris: a beautifully crafted Olaf audio-animatronic that can move freely.
Sadly, Gad had to call off his trip due to a health emergency of his mother. He showed how sad he was missing the experience but also stated that the well-being of his family comes first for him.
Many fans and well-wishers have sent their support to Gad and his family, and also hope for a positive outcome of his mother’s condition. The new World of Frozen will open at Disney Adventure World on March ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌29.
