Dylan Sprouse Clears Up Misconceptions about Home Break-in Incident
Dylan Sprouse recently learned from local authorities that a would-be home intruder attempted to access the house that he shares with his wife, Barbara Palvin, three months ago, and now finally, Dylan has come up with some more specific information regarding that episode.
Sources for the local newspaper said that when Sprouse caught sight of the man, he at first threw punches at the guy in a futile attempt to dislodge the man. Then he wrestled the guy to the ground. After having seen what happened, Barbara Palvin, Sprouse’s wife, was the one who called for police on 911 while they were still at the crime scene according to a source cited.
TMZ was the first to uncover that the trespasser had tried to get inside the 1920s-styled Spanish house but ended up being threatened by Sprouse with a gun until the police made their presence at the scene. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
In his conversation with Dylan Sprouse and Brendan Columbus on Wildmen, which aired on Tuesday, July 14, he also revealed that the truth behind the whole situation is that he “never actually tackled the guy, but everyone believes I did.”

Dylan Sprouse Recalls Night of Attempted Home Break-In
“And I’m definitely not editing what I’ve said,” he added, smiling. “I’m not doing this in order to clear the air at the moment. What I’m doing is kind of hoping that people will think I did because that’s something cool. But to be frank, it’s a situation I’ve never actually faced with a person.
After that, Sprouse talked about it and described to everyone that it was that night when he and Palvin were unpacking their boxes of Pokémon cards. He was relaxing on a couch while he was watching movies and then suddenly picked up some kind of mysterious sound from his side.
Sprouse also mentioned that he hadn’t heard someone coming through his gate at first, which must have been open after a friend had come home. “It suddenly occurs to me that I feel a rattling from my front door, and initially I suspect it is my dad, who happens to visit my place at any time [but he would never come around at 12:30 AM, as he’s in bed by 8],” Sprouse exclaimed.
He Reveals More Details of Intruder Encounter
Sprouse said the first thing that came into his mind was that someone was trying to rob them and take their Pokémon cards, as it was the time they’d just had “a really great pull night.”
Sprouse then said that his wife was in the upper part of the house, and so he went up to her and explained the situation.
He thanked her because she said right away that she’d call the police. The star from a beautiful wedding stated he had the opportunity to check through his house security camera recordings that show he only took 20 seconds to walk upstairs to get his gun, a Kimber 1911 revolver, and then rush back out to the front door of the house to catch the prowler in the act.
He told the man, “Who’s there?” initially, and the intruder, in a manner he described as “a very odd thing to say,” replied, “It is me.” This is what Sprouse related about the confrontation: He said he was on the side and asked, “Who’s there?” once again.
At first, I thought he was the one outside, maybe having run out of the gate once again. But I heard him actually from my garage. Much to my surprise, he denied the presence of any person by saying, “Nobody!”

Dylan Sprouse Says Intruder Seemed Disoriented
“And I know he’s over there, so I got my gun up, and he walks out, and the first thing I see as he comes into the light is he’s walking real slow, and he’s got a cigarette in one hand and a longboard skateboard in the other hand. That’s my immediate thought. I said to myself, He must be tweaking,'” said Sprouse.
“I said, ‘Hey, follow me. We are going to go outside my property here. Walk slow; show me you don’t have anything in your hands, like I don’t want you to do anything funny,” said Sprouse. “So he follows my instructions; he’s really easy about the whole thing. He’s not wild, but he’s slow; he’s definitely drugged. ” Sprouse said that they went to his gate, where he kept his gun on him and asked him why he was doing it, and he said, “Dude, I don’t even know where I am.”
He Reveals Why He Let the man go without charges.
According to the actor, there was still a lot to worry about when a neighbor who overheard the commotion approached him. He told the police officer, who was still at the scene at least three police cars away when he called, to order the suspect who was holding a knife to sit on the ground until they arrived. Police arrived. He said that Palvin, who is pregnant with the couple’s first baby, was “okay” after the incident, and both of them ended their night with Pixar movies and ice cream to decompress.
“Case closed,” Sprouse said when speaking of the intruder. “Didn’t press charges; he had the previous arrest warrants, and I wanted to put him on the pod. “They didn’t charge the man as Palvin and Sprouse stated after he was arrested for outstanding warrants,” said police at the scene.
