Anthony Michael Hall Celebrates a Half-Century in Cinema with the Words, “I’m Truly Grateful.”

Anthony Michael Hall Reflects on Five Decades in Hollywood

Anthony Michael Hall says it’s difficult for him to believe that he has had a career as a professional actor for half a century already. At 58, Hall recalls the days of his childhood when he made his first appearance. “It crossed my mind; it may have been 49,” but then my mother brought up the fact that I was 8 at that time. Hall, who now stars on the new FOX competition series Nation’s Dumbest, told PEOPLE.

As‍‌‍‍‌ a teenager, I had already landed some commercial roles and done a number of stage plays, he adds. In his spare time, he did commercial acting and also participated in dramatic scenes. “Besides, this isn’t the ‍‌‍‍‌end!” Currently, I’m actively developing my own production company and also keep busy throughout the year. I’m really lucky to have a career this long,” Hall says.

Anthony Says Fatherhood Is His Greatest Role

In spite of being proud of having lived so long, Hall says nowadays the major thing is being a husband and father.
Hall‍‌‍‍‌ says that he has found the love of his life, a person with whom he has fallen into such deep love that he cannot even express it in words. She is his wife, Lucia Oskerova, whose hand he has been united with since ‍‌‍‍‌2020. Fatherhood for son Anthony Michael II, who is 3 years old, he adds. “It’s basically a full-time role … but I tell you, we have the most awesome time doing it. We simply do not resist it.” He is so delighted to have such a child who is a big blessing. That being a father and also a husband is the perfect role for him, he says absolutely.
Pertaining to his last work, he is chuckling about why he did it, and he says that he had fun and was happy ‍‌‍‍‌throughout.

Anthony Michael Hall Reveals Surprise Behind His Reality TV Debut

“That‍‌‍‍‌ way I ended up having a lot of good people with whom to spend time: Ice-T, Steve-O, Dr. Drew, Hilaria Baldwin, and Jojo Siwa,” Matt told.
Matt Leinart, Carmen Electra, Andrew Yang, and Elle King. And all of them were really cool together.”
“But the thing is that for the past 20 years I have talked about reality shows, because my wife is a big fan of them. I said yes without knowing what the thing was actually going to be like, which was the best part. Ice-T is really the best source of stories. For one, he was an Army Ranger! What was even more unexpected for me was that he is also a completely clean-living guy who never drank alcohol or took drugs in his life.”
“Carmen Electra, however, gave us a story of her dates with Prince and [Dennis] Rodman. I didn’t expect that.”
“She was so approachable, and my wife literally was dancing with the idea of finally meeting Dr. Drew. She’s from Slovakia, and when she was little, she just sat at home watching his radio program Loveline together with Adam Carolla, which was broadcast there, and that is how she ended up speaking ‍‌‍‍‌English.”

Anthony Michael Hall Says He’s Grateful for His Lasting Hollywood Career

In a conversation, Hall reveals that, along with Nation’s Dumbest, his next projects would be hilarious. Among them are S.W.A.T. Exiles and a horror film, Halloween Store, which is going to be made after some time. Furthermore, Hall’s film production is going on via his company, Manhattan Films.

When talking about his history, he was the protagonist of Gen-X movies that defined a generation. He is happy to see they are still relevant.

I really like these movies by John Hughes,” Hall states. “They were really a huge part of my development as a person,” he recalls. The best thing is being able to create and have one’s work at the same time,” he comments. “I truly mean it when I say I am thankful.”
