Maroca, who was a local government representative in the City Council of Lago Verde, was a person full of energy and love of the community, according to the colleagues.
Social media influencer Fernanda Maroca and a councilwoman actively involved in the life of the city of Lago Verde, Brazil, passed away on Oct. 23. She was only 30 years old.
“She was always very committed, dedicated, and loving to Lago Verde,” said the condolence message from the City Council of Lago Verde, translated. “The municipal administration, therefore, is sending its condolences to the family and friends in this difficult time, not only sharing its deepest sympathy but also thanks for all the commitment and service that Fernanda gave to the people of Lago ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌Verde.”

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ public servant and content creator of Lago Verde were found dead at their residence while the police are still investigating the cause of the death.


Fernanda Maroca was councilwoman, in her second term only, and before that, she was president of the Lago Verde City Council for the last five years, thus she had already served two terms as president and five years as councilwoman.
Maroca was sharing lifestyle, fashion, fitness, and beauty content on Instagram — where she had more than 54,000 followers — and at the same time, she was documenting her work in public service.
Family members finding the late content creator dead at her home in Lago Verde, called the Maranhão Military Police, as reported by local news outlet g1. The police are still looking into how it ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌happened.

City​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Declares Mourning for Fernanda Maroca


Lago Verde pays tribute to the late councilwoman and influencer with days of remembrance and a public farewell.
The city government of Lago Verde, through the executive branch, declared the city in mourning for three days and granted a day off to non-essential municipal offices following the death of Fernanda Maroca. A cortege and burial were held at the city hall at midnight on Oct. 24 for the people who wanted to accompany the influencer and politician to her last ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌journey.
