John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson Expecting Twins
The Duck Dynasty duo shared a happy surprise — their family will have two new additions early next year.
Great news from the Robertson family! John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson, parents to John, 5, Ella, 4, and Wells, 2, took to Instagram on Oct. 4 with a joint post to announce that they were expecting twins. “More excited than ever to let you all know that next year early we will be welcoming not one but TWO new members to our family!!!” the couple wrote, describing the news as “the most wonderful, unbelievable surprise blessing of our lives.”

John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson to Have Twin Girls
The Duck Dynasty pair, along with their three children, made a sepia-toned beach announcement with a sonogram strip — the news of the release is spreading among fans and family who are ecstatic.
John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson, 29, decided to publicly announce on Oct. 4 that they would bring “two new little Robertson girls” into the world early next year. Their shared Instagram post was a sepia family photo at the beach — Mary Kate with her bump in a checkered dress and their eldest, John, holding a sonogram strip — and the caption read, “the most amazing, unpredictable blessing of our lives, out of the blue.” Relatives bombarded the comments section: Korie Robertson commented, “Soooo excited … so much love!! You are going to be the best twin mom!”
Family floods comments with joy as Sadie and Korie celebrate new arrivals
Will Robertson, his brother, shouted with delight, “WOOHOOOO MORE NIECES!!!!” and sister Sadie Robertson commented, “CAN’T WAITTTTTTT!!!!!! Kit’s besties.” Sadie — who, together with husband Christian Huff, is the mother of Kitt Carroway Huff born in August (thus making Honey, 3, and Haven, 2 two older sisters) — was also kissed by mum Korie, who commented on Instagram, “It really is indescribable feeling watching your daughter giving birth to a daughter. Little Kit is just perfect! She has the most adorable dark hair (Honey and Haven were very blonde!), like Sadie’s when she was a baby, so we’ll see if it remains!”

Sadie Robertson on family as an anchor
According to her statement, the support from the families of the three has been their driving force behind all changes.
On reflection of her family while responding to E! News in 2021, Sadie Robertson said that her family has been “the rock” for them through all changes, and she really appreciates them. She stated, “It is at the end of the year that one thing I am really thankful for is the rock my family has been and how we’ve gone through all these things together.” “Besides, the total of our affairs, the core of our persons has not changed and I am really, really thankful for it,” she also said.
Updates beyond Mary Kate’s pregnancy — family milestones, tributes and life on the ranch
Phil and Miss Kay Robertson — Family patriarch and matriarch
Phil had to fight Alzheimer’s which led to his death in May 2025 but during the filming of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, the Duck Dynasty family suffered a great deal.
Family patriarch Phil Robertson and his wife Miss Kay (Marsha Kay Carroway) stayed together for 59 years until his death at 79 in May 2025. The Duck Commander founder and wife raised four sons — Alan, Jason “Jase,” Willie and Jep Robertson — and Phil also fathered a daughter, Phyllis, from a 1970s‑era extramarital affair. The household announced in December 2024 that Phil was “early stages” of Alzheimer’s and the situation kept the family weighed down as they were filming the show Duck Dynasty: The Revival (which premiered in June 2025). “It has been a struggle for all of us,” said Willie’s wife Korie Robertson in a show confessional, further stating that Phil’s illness had compelled Willie to think about his own legacy.

Jase and Missy Robertson
The couple have been married since 1990, are the parents of Reed, Cole, and Mia — and Jase confesses that he didn’t anticipate the success of the show.
Jase and Missy Robertson married in 1990 and have three children together: sons Reed and Cole, and daughter Mia. Jase, who was involved in the creation of some of Duck Commander’s famous calls, told Fox News that he was one of the people who believed the show might not succeed: “We’ve got some unbelievable characters in our family—but I didn’t think people would want to watch that.”
Reed and his wife Brighton are parents to three children, and Cole got engaged to girlfriend Emily Hamn in March 2025.

Willie and Korie Robertson
Duck Commander’s longtime leader, married since 1992, and parents to a large, growing clan — now eyeing retirement.
Willie Robertson has been leading Duck Commander as a CEO since 2002 and, with the premiere of Duck Dynasty: The Revival, has suggested a step back out of his role. He and Korie (née Howard), who got married in 1992, have brought up six children — Rebecca, John Luke, Sadie, Bella, Will Jr., and Rowdy — and are parents to nine grandchildren, namely John Luke and Mary Kate’s three children, Sadie and Christian Huff’s three daughters, and Rebecca and John Reed’s three children. The marriage of Will Jr. to Abby Kay Robertson took place in 2023; the family of “Heirloom” continues to expand and take part in the Robertson lineage in a lively manner.

Sadie Robertson and Christian Huff
Got married in 2019 at the Robertson homestead — being partners in faith, family and business, and the parents of three daughters.
In 2019, Sadie and Christian Huff, faith-centered fitness entrepreneur 4:8 Men founder, got married in the Robertson family’s Louisiana homestead. Sadie told People at the time that marrying your best friend means “you don’t want to spend a day without them.” In May 2021, the couple had a daughter named Honey James Huff. Then, in May 2023, they had their second daughter Haven Belle Huff. Finally, in August 2025, they became parents to a baby girl named Kit Carroway Huff”

Jep Robertson and Jessica Robertson
Married since 2001 — five children, grandchildren, and more on the way.
The youngest of the three screened brothers Jep and his wife Jessica got married in 2001 and have five children: three daughters, Lily, Merritt, and Priscilla, and two sons, River and Gus. The family tree of the Robertsons is rapidly expanding — Lily and Austin became parents to a boy, Winston, in February 2025; Merritt and Tyler Metro will have their first baby this coming December, and in July, Jessica made an announcement that Priscilla, with a baby girl due in October, is expecting.

Si Robertson and Christine Robertson
Uncle Si — Army Vet and Family Man, Married to Chris since 1971
Si was one of a kind. The less known brother of Phil, Si, has been married to Christine since 1971. They have two children, a daughter and a son, named Trasa and Scott respectively. Trasa is married to Kyle Coburn, and they have four sons; while Scott and his wife Marsha Robertson have four children in common. Marsha is also a musician who performs with Uncle Si & the Sicotics.

Phyllis Thomas
Daughter of Phil from a secret 1970s scandal that DNA has now definitively showed and the Robertson family who received her with a lot of warmth welcomed her.
In 2020, Phil learned that he was the father of a girl called Phyllis Thomas, a child that he had with an offhand relationship in the 1970s after Al received a letter suggesting such a possibility. To ensure the connection, the family arranged a DNA test, which gave the green light, and Phyllis received an embrace from the Robertsons. Korie Robertson told E! News in 2023 that Kay was right there at Phyllis’s disposal when she arrived and she became part of the family in no time.
