Disney TV Shows 2000s

Disney has been the ultimate favorite among 90s children for its funny, engaging, and relatable content. The channel produced some of the most iconic shows in the 2000s. Series like Wizards of Waverly Place to Hannah Montana, Phineas and Ferb, Kim Possible, and similar others made life better back then!

If you’re also feeling nostalgic and want to watch shows you missed out on, here are the best Disney TV shows 2000s:

Lizzie McGuire (2001-2004)

Lizzie McGuire is one of the most classic Disney TV shows from the 2000s that hooked everyone instantly.

You get to see Lizzie manage family, friendships, and her life as a teenager, along with her friends Gordo and Miranda. The show shares everything from heartbreaks to crushes and school life.

Lizzie McGuire portrayed the struggles of Lizzie as a teenager; her emotions and thoughts expressed through monologues made her more relatable.

The iconic theme song, “If you believe, we’ve got a picture-perfect plan, we’ve got you fooled, cause we only do the best we can,” became as popular as the show itself.

Phineas and Ferb (2007-2015)

Thanks to YouTube, Phineas and Ferb is as popular among kids today as it was ten years back. The show revolves around the adventures of stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb during their summer vacation.

Phineas is the curious, inquisitive one, while Ferb follows his plans that sometimes make the day better, and sometimes, well… you know how it all usually ends!

The brothers and their superspy dog, Perry the Platypus, enjoy their summer vacation to the fullest while ensuring their sister does not interfere in their plans. It is a quirky, funny watch to make your dull days better.

That’s So Raven (2003-2007)

That’s So Raven is one of the most popular Disney shows from the 2000s everyone remembers. The show featured Raven-Symoné as Raven Baxter, a student with a hidden psychic talent that offered her sneak peeks into the future.

Raven’s teenage student life, combined with the misadventures resulting from psychic visions and the hilarious comedy, made it a favorite among viewers. The show also shared life lessons with the audience, making it more impactful and relatable.

It was the first show to run beyond the 65-episode limit and one of the rare ones to get a sequel. Furthermore, That’s So Raven featured guest appearances, making everyone eagerly wait for the next episode.

Sonny with a Chance (2009-2011)

Sonny with a Chance introduced Demi Lovato to the world as she played Sonny Munroe, who joins the comedy sketch “So Random!” within the show. While the audience enjoyed Sonny with a Chance, it had to be cut short to 47 episodes when Lovato had to leave the show for her substance abuse treatment in 2010. Later, the producers rebranded the show to “So Random!” taking the same format as the comedy sketch within the show.

Even Stevens (2000-2003)

Even Stevens is one of the earliest and most relatable Disney TV shows 2000s, showcasing a sibling duo with contrasting personalities. Louis is the lack-back but mischievous sibling, while Ren is a perfectionist. The show made everyday moments funny and enjoyable because of its comic timing and clever writing.

The show ran for 65 episodes for three years, making people laugh hysterically. The best part is that the series also taught the audience life lessons and informative facts.

American Dragon: Jake Long (2005-2007)

What would you do if you got to know you could transform into a dragon as a teenager?

American Dragon: Jake Long dives into a similar situation where Jake Long learns that he can transform into a dragon. Jake, a Chinese-American teenager becomes a dragon to fight evil and protect the town. The show is a treat for boring times you can enjoy alone or with your siblings and friends.

Hannah Montana (2006-2011)

Among all the Disney shows from the 2000s, the craze for Hannah Montana is unmatched!

Hannah Montana is the story of Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus), a well-known pop singer who lives a normal life without revealing her famed personality to her friends and family. The show shared Miley’s struggles to balance life while keeping the secret.

The show allowed Miley Cyrus to impress the audience with her voice and wit. Her character tackling family, friendship, and stardom made Hannah Montana interesting and relatable.

Not only did the show push Miley Cyrus to soaring success, but it also immediately became a top favorite among viewers.

Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-2012)

If you’re a fan of wizard shows, Wizards of Waverly Palace is a must-watch. The exciting series shows the Russo family that lives above the family sandwich shop with a portal to a wizard’s lair that eventually leads to the kids becoming wizards. The show perfectly combines humor, magic, and fantasy.

Selena Gomez played the main character, Alex Russo, with an amazing supporting cast that made every moment quirky and entertaining.

Kim Possible (2002-2007)

The mention of Disney’s most celebrated shows from the 2000s is incomplete without Kim Possible.

Who doesn’t remember the iconic “I’m your basic average girl, and I’m here to save the world?”

Kim Possible made all the kids of that time wonder if they would get to fight crime like Kim Possible and her best friend, Ron Stoppable. Ron’s pet naked mole rat, Rufus, is also an adorable part of the series. You will love the high-school drama, action-packed storylines, comedy, and adventure in the show.

Jonas (2009-2010)

Jonas is a less-popular but incredibly entertaining series that brought the Jonas brothers to Disney.

The show follows the lives of the Jonas brothers through unusual and funny situations as they try to navigate through their lives. You will see them juggle through high school and manage teen life while having a successful music career.

While the audience enjoyed the show, the Jonas brothers later said that the show was not a good idea. They mentioned in a documentary, “We shouldn’t have done that. It really stunted our growth.”

So, have you selected which Disney TV show from the 2000s you will watch next?

Tune into your favorite series and enjoy timeless comedy from the past!
