After making a vow that she would not get married anymore, it is said that Davina McCall is engaged to Michael Douglas.
Davina McCall Rumored to Be Engaged to Michael Douglas
It is reported that Davina McCall is engaged to her hairstylist boyfriend Michael Douglas, who has been with her for a long time, only a few weeks after she said she was not going to marry again.
The 56-year-old TV presenter had met the hairdresser for the stars, Michael, 47, several times before they became a couple after the divorce of Matthew Robertson in April 2018.
They made their relationship known later that year, and by January 2023, Michael had moved in with her officially. Now, the couple are rumored to be ready to go the next step and get married.

Keeping the News Private
For the first time, Davina decided to keep the happy news to herself and kept even the bosses at ITV out of the loop so that her family and friends would be the first ones to hear about it.
A source confided, “She got a ring but only wears it in private.”
The friend went on, “Nothing but good news and elation for everyone who is familiar with them. They are indeed the most beautiful couple that really do love each other.” (via The Sun)
A Change of Heart
Davina is reported by friends to have come to the conclusion that “life is too short” a year after her scary brain tumour experience.
An ITV source said, “Davina was very private about it she only told her closest friends and family. She isn’t the type of person who likes to talk about her complications, so she wanted to make sure that all of her loved ones were the first to know.”
The news is a complete turnaround from her statement just a month ago when she declared that she would not get married again.
“We go on honeymoons all the time but without getting married,” she told The Mirror. “We are still in the honeymoon phase after all these years. I couldn’t be more happy. There is also sometimes the feeling of why change?”
Davina also recognised her late father for imparting to her the four essential things that every relationship works successfully on: “friendship, attraction, trust and respect.”

A Love Built on Friendship
Thinking of her dad’s good advice, Davina herself continued: “If love is missing any of those things, it can’t grow. And I really think he was absolutely right.”
The hair styling session during Big Brother when Davina was the presenter was the first meeting of Davina and Michael. Over time their friendship grew before they noticed their romantic connection.
In the past, Davina was married to Matthew Robertson for 17 years with whom she has three children—Holly, Chester, and Tilly. She was married to Andrew Leggett from 1997 to 1999 before that.
In addition to her personal life, Davina has had a successful career in television. At the NTAs last year, she was given the Special Recognition Award for almost 30 years in the entertainment industry, which made the audience at the O2 Arena in London give her a standing ovation.

A Year of Resilience
On a very moving VT, Davina’s television friends Dermot O’Leary, Alison Hammond, and Claudia Winkleman talked about how much they valued their friendships with her, supporting her amazing career.
The tear-inducing messages gave Davina the tears as she took the Special Recognition Award from Hannah Waddingham.
Afterward, Davina conveyed her feelings about the moment, explaining that it was so moving only a few weeks before her brain tumour operation.
“I knew I had a brain tumour last year and that I was going to have surgery in six weeks,” she told The Mirror. “It was so meaningful to me when I was presented with the award. Everybody else knew the reason why it meant so much to me—it just meant the world to me because I wasn’t quite sure what my situation was going to be six weeks later.”
