Insider Update: Tori Spelling & Family ‘Still Pretty Shook Up’ After Car Accident

It turns out Tori Spelling, four out of her children, and three friends of the children were involved in a car accident on Thursday, April 2. An insider shared a condition update on them.

“It just happened so fast and it was really scary, ” the source told PEOPLE. “Everyone is still pretty shaken up and have minor injuries. Tori thinks that they were very lucky that it wasn’t worse, though.”

Moreover, the family was really thankful that they had the chance to spend Easter together on Sunday even after the accident.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star, 52, and four of her children were rushed to the hospital after the Temecula, California, crash, which is about 80 miles from Los Angeles. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office stated that deputies arrived at the scene at approximately 5:45 p.m. and discovered two vehicles with collision damage.

Spelling and Her Children Taken to Hospital After being Hit by a Speeding Car

Tori Spelling was driving with four of her children and three friends of theirs when their car got into a serious accident in Temecula, California. TMZ sources reported that Spelling’s vehicle was hit by a speeding driver who allegedly ran a red light.

After the accident, Spelling along with the seven children were rushed to the hospital in three different ambulances. The medical teams treated the group for various forms of injuries, such as cuts, bruises, contusions, and concussions.

Although the emergency responders checked the health of the car occupants at the scene, there were no arrests during the incident. The police continue to investigate the crash while the Spelling family is retraced.

Spelling Rep Confirms Car Accident Following Crash Near Los Angeles

Tori Spelling’s rep has confirmed the car accident which happened on Thursday, April 4, in a statement to PEOPLE on Saturday. No additional updates have been provided after a second request for comment on Monday, April 6.

Spelling, who shares five children with her ex-husband Dean McDermott, is the mother of 19-year-old Liam, 17-year-old Stella, 14-year-old Hattie, 13-year-old Finn, and 9-year-old Beau.

This is not the first incident when a car accident has been in the spotlight for the Beverly Hills, 90210 star. Back in 2011, she was pregnant at the time and got into a collision when her vehicle struck a wall as she was trying to drive her two eldest children to school and was being chased by paparazzi.
