She said, “If you and I met and simply hung out as friends, I’m like an open book about it. [But] I don’t want them to be distracted by anything while watching me. I want people to see the character. I feel like when performers expose too much about their life, I’m watching something and saying, ‘Oh, I know she just broke up with that guy,’ or, ‘I know she likes to do hot yoga,’ or whatever it is.”

When the reporter brought up that some of her followers disagreed with her religious beliefs, Moss said that she couldn’t control how other people felt, adding that “if it’s not that, it’ll be something else.”

She also noted that, although the notion was ambiguous, it was not a “closed-off religion.” The actress said, “It’s a very open place to, like, welcome in someone who wants to learn more about it.” I believe it is the most often misunderstood aspect.”
